Testing 3 INCH Lidu Display Shells!!!
Tonight I’m doing some testing on a case if Lidu 3 inch assorted shells. I have yet to feature this assortment in my channel so it is now time. These are some of the more higher end shells compared to what I have shot in the past. I hope everyone enjoys this demo and please like this video. I spent a decent amount of money on this video so I appreciate all the support I can get. Also if you’d like to donate to the channel then look us up on Pateron. We also have Facebook and Tiktok as well!
Thanks again everyone for all your support!

I love it when I see display operators class B reloading a smoking mortar. One of the number one things you’re taught not to do.
Nice shells, I would be careful about reloading while the mortar is still smoking, you never know if there is a burning ember at the bottom that will send that shell skyward while you are reloading
Safety Tip Using multiple tubes is a suggestion because of cooling time. I would be afraid of loading a shell into a mortar tube which was still smoking and having my hand over the mortar tube. I just want you to be safe and keep both your hands. Excellent Shells

Typically I do. I have tons of racks. But when demoing shells/playing around I just use a single mortar. There isn’t enough oxygen at the bottom to allow combustion so it’s usually safe if it’s a little smoke

That propane torch is not messing around, it's just getting those puppies lit fast.

Lidu shells are on my wish list for sure along with some Vulcan shells too. Those had nice vivid colors and good breaks. I also see you're packing a Kershaw Cryo knife. Thats a great budget blade that I also use as one of my everyday carry blades. Sorry, I'm a pyro and a knife guy, lol.

Way back before 9/11 happened you we're able to find these on the black market. The 3 inch I had were pretty kickass!
Nice
What are those torches you pyro guys like to use to light your fireworks? They look like they would be very handy because they would make lighting your shells a lot quicker and easier. I'm also interested in the electronic ignition systems, I've found one on the market so far, the Cobra system. Any other recommendations you might have? I'm going to apply for my commercial pyro license soon. Any advice you could give me on this? Thanks thank you for any advice you can give me.
How long and wide are the tube you used for this video?
Where did you order these threw?
I just started my apprenticeship up here in Maine, but the man I am working under uses road flares to light his off... it helps keep you a bit away from the shells as you light!! But once I get my license I will be using this type of product... bad ass man!

Can you make a video how to put a quickmatch into firework shell?

Use about 4 inches of red fuse
So I’ve read online that the biggest shells consumer grade firework enthusiasts can buy are 3 inch shells but I see 7 inch canister shells being sold are they talking about artillery shells? Or what I’m super confused because all the artillery shells I see are not 3 inches across or are they talking about diameter??
@ecw126
5 күн бұрын
Consumer is 1.4g and when your seeing 4”,5”,6” they’re talking about heights of the shell. Display fireworks or 1.3g when people say they are 3” or 4” this is referring to diameter of the shell
Man I just wish I had some of these 1.3 shells !!! Pyrotechnic is my hobby, I'm 20 when I turn 21 I'll definitely have to check out the license for 1.3... because obviously I can't purchase 1.3 with out it 😬
