The green cans I got were louder than expected. I think your comparison might've had one slightly watered down compared. Mine shook the whole street lmao. Next time i go to the place I got them from I'll have to get a few different kits and see how they sound

This brings up another great point, these cans vary greatly from batch to batch/yr to yr & also you may notice they vary within the pack itself there will almost always be some that are weaker than the rest & a few that stand out. This newest batch of Rambo's absolutely slays the old Rambo, I have some zombie revenge cans I'd put up against nearly anything & I also have a batch that hit like most other average 4" cans, my wow cans are solid shooters but it sounds like the batch this fella has may really pack a punch We all love comparing cans but there are far to many factors to be very accurate. Follow up: I have Joker Orange cans, James Bond, zombie’s, dragon black box balls, whistling serp, nightwing, riddlers, 2 outs baseball, and a couple miscellaneous. I’ll do a comparison video this year!

Nice video! What’s weird to me is i’ve compared all of these shells and to me I think the D.S. hit harder than all of them. The 6” hit the same as the W.O.W and rambo’s were a bit better than the 6” but the D.S. were the best.

We tested them in the sky & on the ground & this year's batch of Rambo & Dark sides are clearly the top two cans to beat 🏆, I don't care what some cheap Amazon D.B meter thinks 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

Salute shells do not go as high do to loudness if they to high the impact is less from where you are standing I thought they were all good Ps I been doing pro Pyro for 20 years and again your stuff was pretty awesome

I’m in NE as well and even went to Rockport but didn’t see any of these

​@@Austin-cj9foI test mine on the ground to get a more accurate reading because some go higher than others but if usually one of the better cans are 3 to 4 db louder than a good ball shell and 11 to 12 db louder than a lower end ball shell

i think those ball shells have somewhere around 15-20 grams of flashpowder, while canister shells have like 50 grams

I believe shells are greatly louder. They have more powder and don't go as high, therefore they are much louder

Try the Corona killers shells they hit hard for 4" shells

I intentionally take out about 4 grams of lift just to surprise my buddy all the time lol

Just make a snub nose tube. Much easier. Although that would take away the surprise factor 😂

It could be the length of your mortars as to why the shells aren’t going higher. Shorter tubes and make the height shorter sometimes

seems like they are putting less lift charge in all of the new shells! i’ve noticed that, last years shells went higher! just a thought tho, i am not 100% on that, just heard it from multiple people tho, many people are having the same problem

Most don’t. There are a couple but most don’t. Nebraska doesn’t have many tents with these. If you’re in Iowa head to Iowa Fireworks farm. They have great prices along with what you want

You can see some of the gases escaping when some of the canisters explode... that lack of spiking or improper sealing leads to a lighter break.

It’s not leakage. It’s the black powder primer they put on the time fuse. Flash powder burns too fast to leak like that

They have around 55g flash with 10-11g lift. Weighed a few. The casing is 6in but you can fit that amount of powder in a smaller casing. Same with the 7in shells like thrillers. They have 120g 110 with 10g lift but still have space since 120g won't fill a 7in.
