It’s actually AR2209 manufactured here in Australia by ADI (Australian Defence Industries) and I believe packed down and labelled H4350 in the US.

@0give I'm gasping for LR primers. I can get powder and bullets in .308 and .458, (but not .358.) Manufacturers have been playing to the lowest denominator of new gun owners shooting .223 and .308 factory ammo and don't give a rip about reloading. Meanwhile, us reloaders get the hind teat with availability of powders, bullets, brass and especially primers for large rifles.

Hey guys love your work 👍🏻 here in Australia H4350 is adi2209 same powder, I’ve used it in lots of cartridges of my own and loaded for others aswel, I’ve always found it to be an extremely accurate powder and very easy to tune loads with, I have used it in 6.5creed, 25-06, 6.5-284, 257weatherby, 7mm rem mag, 30-06, 300win mag, 338win mag all have worked great.

Great video. I started using H4350 in my 6.5 CM AR10 with 22" barrel. 140 ELDm 41.5 at 2698 fps. For a gas gun it does pretty good with less than .68" groups at 230yds. My savage elite 6.5CM 24" does well with 40.2 of H4350 with the 140eldm at 2720 fps. Because of your staball video an seeing it available now, I had to try some of that. It does well with the 147gn eldm with 43.6gn @ 2847 😲 in the savage. I have to play with it in the AR now :-)

I bounce between h380 and 4350 for two of my rifles . I use 380 in my 22-250 in the summer and 4350 in winter . 4350 in summer and 4064 in winter with my .308 purely for velocity in both rifles due to the massive temperature swing in my area which helps maintain the velocity at long range with both .

I've used IMR 4350 for many years and now H4350 sense it came out. Both are great powders, and they cover many cartridge sizes and calibers. The large thing with H4350 is the graduals are shorter for easier feed through load throwers. Also great groups at the range

I just bought my first H4350 ever. Neat story. But I have loaded 7mm RemMags since mid 80s. I mainly used IMR4350 & IMR4831 with all bullet weights. I started using H1000 & Retumbo. But I worked up a sweet whitetail load with IMR4451 @ 2825. I have a "ladder test" worked up with some different bullets using IMR4451 & H4350 to compare the 2. Eager to get velocities, SDs, & groups. Thank you all.

The only Hodgdon labelled powder I have used is their Superformance for my .30-06's. Otherwise I have been a devoted IMR powder reloader using the IMR 4064 and 3031 most of the time for my .308 and .35 Remington. I am gradually moving toward the Winchester 748 and 760 as my 'go-to' powders for the .308 and .30-06. The pressure index is lower than other powders and the velocity lost due to this is negligible. And, they meter much more easily. I like your thoughts about compressed loads even though you didn't say compressed. I never thought about the gap between the primer and powder in the casing if you are pointing downward in a hunting situation or combat position. I loved seeing the .375 H&H Magnum in your line-up.

I’m doing load development for my savage 110 .270 win. I’ve looked up load data for my components. Not a lot out there for my components. But there is some. I chose H4350 because I can get plenty of it and it’s temp friendly. I also chose it because I can use it in many of my hunting different cartilages. So far I’ve been very satisfied with H4350 powder handling. Now I’m getting ready to range test the five .270 cartilages I loaded yesterday. I’m expecting good results. I’ve studied and purchased the equipment a little bit at the time. Now it’s time to see what I’ve learned. Thanks Gav and friends for being part of the cyber reloading school.

I need to try and develop my loads for the 308win so that way I can see if I can stop using Varget.. On the 6CM I running it with 108, 109, 112 and 115 Berger’s almost with the same loads getting very low and consistent sd. Also it’s very accurate on my 7SAUM with the 180, 183 and 184 gr bullets. Super low sd as well. Impressively accurate on the 7mm Mauser with 140-180 gr bullets, 257 Roberts from 100-135 gr bullets and 9.3X62 Mauser with 250-285 bullets.

Both perform well, but for some reason my WinMag really came alive with this powder. 75 grains is at 3320 with an sd of 11. Browning X-Bolt 26” barrel. And for some reason the recoil isn’t that bad? I only get 2870 out of my 30.06 with 57.5, but recoil feels similar.?? 30.06 is about 4 ounces lighter and has a 24” barrel (Rem 700). Anyway, it’s my favorite powder.

I can't get h4350 but could get a ld of imr 4451. Been loading 165 gr sierras, 168gr tsx's in my 30-06,and 139 gr in my 7mm-08's. Very similar to h4350. I would like to get h4350 if I could. It looks like for now imr 4451 is a very good substitute. I would like you to do a similar test with imr 4451 if you could. Thanks.

I shoot a Ruger M77 long range. Favorite load is h4350 ( 40.2g.) ,147 gr. ELD Match. Not a hot load, but 5 shot group under 1/2 inch at 100 yard. I don’t think my old eyes can do any better. Good for sub moa at 600 yards.

Love me some h4350! 41.5 grains with a 105 Berger Hybrid is absolutely sweet and in the .1s when I do my thing. 41.5 w a Berger 140 or eld 140 as well is fantastic. 41.5 (catching a theme yet?) is also fantastic in my 25 CM and shoots groups from .0s to .2s all day long with Berger 135s. 75 grain elds and 39.1 g in my 22 CM is a lethal combo for chucks and super tight ES… have had ES of 2 MPH on five shot groups with 6.5, 6 and 25 CM with 22 CM not far behind. I’ve had 9 creedmoors in four chamberings and won’t even try another powder it just works!

4350 is the most versatile powder out there. Although I’ve always had more consistent velocities with IMR from 243 up to 30-06. H4350 is slightly slower burning and produces a little higher velocity with larger capacity cases.
