HOORAY SNAKE HAS FINALLY UPGRADED HIS VIDEOS xD
Semi serious talk now,
So I've been using iMovie to edit all of my omega collection videos and I was happy with it. Easy to use and understand and did the job good. However recently KZread has been compressing my videos to where 720p looked like shit. iMovie sadly does not allow me to render videos in a higher resolution than the base file. So I've shopped around and found DaVinci Resolve 17.
With Resolve I can now render videos in a higher resolution than before. Now to clarify I use the PS4's built in recorder, which can only capture in 30fps. Sadly Resolve can't render a higher frame rate than the base file, but can increase resolution. It also has way more editing features and tools than iMovie could dream of, this will give me greater flexibility in editing which, is especially great for when I do fail/funny videos.
So what does this mean for you guys? Well, expect all videos to now be at 1080p resolution, with better graphics for videos and improved audio. No more compressed shit, just my music racing videos in greater quality (but sadly not in 60 fps :/ ). Granted there is a lot to learn with this software, so it will take me some time to get to grips with it. But I'll get there!
Also DaVinci resolve 17 is completely free!!
Anyway this is a tester video to see how the quality holds up after uploading, the race is one I cut from my most recent video. Please leave a comment rating the quality of the video and, any tips to help me learn Resolve would be great!
