Amos is the reason I picked up a bass after watching Tesseract live in London. Thank you, Sir!

These playthroughs always make me appreciate the band even more, sometimes you don't get to hear certain intricacies when listening to the album as a whole. Thank you for uploading, Amos & Team!
When Amos bends the strings, he's in fact bending the time :D
TesseracT is a groove machine
i’ve never heard of this band or this bass player but damn i’m glad it popped up on my feed

Weird, almost the same for me, I knew the band, but never watched them on KZread and it popped in my feed too.
I got so used to hearing this version that whenever I hear the album version now it sounds so... thin. Wonderful playing, these basslines are incredible.
Amos Williams is "King" of bass tone. This and the "Smile" playthrough are ridicously good 🔥
Just got my first bass this Christmas...God, I can't wait to sound this good! He makes it look so dang easy. Wish me luck all!!

Music is the ultimate playground. Hope your hands have begun to crave the strings by now
What I appreciate is that he is so pronounced in all the mixes I've heard so far. As a bass player, I have such a difficult time doing this and trying to push through the mixes in different styles of music.
Such a treat to watch... Your bass strings are hypnotic in that high of a resolution. Amos, you're not only a musician. You're a true artist!
Seeing Amos play through this is like a work of art all by itself. So many different styles and skills, all perfectly meshed with the rest of the band. The harmonizing that he does with the singer in the middle of the song (while still playing a "normal" bassline at the same time) is so beautiful. This dude is off the chain. Cheers.
Now matter how many times I watch this, it’s still tasty.
Saw this video when it came out and it really inspired me. Today I bought my first 5 string bass after only a month playing and I just finished learning the intro. Feels like a nice full circle moment.

Man it's ridiculous how clean you are on your bass... I WISH I was that clean on ANY instrument i played.
This is legit one of the most beautiful, melodic songs I've ever heard. And your playing is so effortless and smooth! Very nicely done.
Nice bass, nice sound, nice riffs, nice hair. 10/10

I agree to all of the above. And yes he does have nice long hair for a man. Some men really can't pull off the long hair look.
Man, why are all my favorite bassists from the UK? Justin Chancellor, Nolly, Amos, Jon Stockman (he's an Aussie, but still...) Love the way you play Amos!

funnily enough this question has been in my head far too long. Probably not my absolute favorite (still a big Ryan Martinie fan) but if i did a top 10 of bass players, 80% of them would be british. In fact i got into bass because of a british player (lemmy). Maybe there's something in that tea that makes good bass players who knows lmao

amazing composition , the bass line is so awesome and the interpretation of Mr. Amos its flawless!!!
Sweet minimalist aesthetics. Crisp, perfect, production. You probably put a lot of effort and top-end gear into this. I already was a fan, now I'm even more impressed!

Love those bends
Man that thing has a beautiful headstock
Great grooves and playing. Plus, you practically gave us an instructional video. Awesome dude.

Man, the construction of #Tesseract riffs are brilliantly written in the way that each section flows almost overlaps seamlessly to the next section and they are my favorite band of all time because of that and they’re genuinely the most talented, high-level songwriters to date 🤷🏽♂️ TesseracT forever dude 🤘🏽
Like so many of us, ive been learning this song. Im actually playing it on a fretless, and lemme tell ya, the octave slides are *amazing* on a fretless bass. Im definitely recording a cover once i get the song down.

I love how often the bass peeks through in the actual mix of the song
Beautiful tone and basslines. Thank you for this !!
once again blown away by your playing and the quality of the content you produce
Amazing tone and clarity! Delicious sound.
Have been playing this song since it came out and it is by far my favourite. Just got schooled by the master!! My hamfisted version may play the rough notes but the intricacies that are included in this are just insane. I especially love the cadence of the final section with the three fingers. Those bends...holy wow they are aggressive it's not until you listen to the playthrough that you see that these parts are driving the song. This is why Amos is my favourite bass player ever. Thankyou mate and I cannot wait for the day I can finally see this all live.
Been a guitar player for 18 years.. just bought my first bass. Time to dive in!
God damnit I've always loved this bassline but never seen it played. It's so smooth and yet subtly technical :)

Absolutely killer track. Amos' bass tone is absolutely smashing as usual.

Great playing as always, Amos. Love you and your band's stuff. Can't wait to see you guys live again soon.
That low A string is perfect
This was wonderful. Awesome track, fantastic execution, great video.
I have to say, the bass isn't my style, but the flame in that fretboard is stunning. Nicely done Amos.
Wasn't a fan of the band and I'm a guitar player. Even still, I have to thank the KZread recommendations for this because your tone, playing and camera work is insane 🤘🤘🤘
My day just got way better now that this is out. I love these playthroughs.
love your playing Amos + the way your bass fits into the mix is great
It’s always a pleasure watching you play Amos !!!
What a beautiful instrument.. I absolutely love flamed maple fretboards.
Great bass line. Serving a purpose and melodic. Big thumbs up Amos
Such a talented bassist, and such a gorgeous bass!
King is the best song on this record, so glad to be seeing a bass playthrough of it. Thanks Amos. :D
Dat tone. Dat technique.
This guy got me into bass.
Dude your playing is so great and unique, I cant quite put my finger on it but it's just so smooth. Like the way you move your hand, and your fingers just kind of follow it slightly behind instead of them staying stiff with your hand. Keep grooving \m/
To everyone wondering about that clank You can try with as many pedals as you like but you’ll never have this guys thumb

So sick amos, your bass playing inspired me so much on my latest record! It's everywhere man.
Dang this song is so much fun to play!
Such attention to detail in this part! And the camera work!!!
This is mesmerizing
Great playthrough once again! 🤘🏻😎
This is awesome.
Great work, as always! Can't wait to share the stage with you guys on June 8th! Cheers from Sullen's bassist! :)

Stunning sound
Wow man, this is one of my absolute favorite bass parts. Had a lot of fun learning it myself by watching this, just wish I had better slapping technique! Peace man, always looking forward to hearing more from you / Tesseract.
I love how everyone's part in king is just a reinforcement of the same general melody It's so oppressively heavy for it.
One of my favourite songs of 2018!
That bassline is so amazing :D!!!! awesome work
