All the Dudes playing on this track brought their damn A game !!! It's awesome being able to hear the Bass Tapping part at the forefront
I came to see the bass and stayed to hear that asstight playing.

Right? BTW Love your Channel too. Simon, can you make a video on how you approach your tone? I use a PODHD pro (like Soulhenge) and I'm really happy with my personal tone, however, It would be really interesting to see what you look for on frequencies and such. Thanks for a beautiful playthrough, I've must have watched this about 40 times by now.

Luigi Masella Don't forget 4:50 my dude
if the victor wooten style finger playing isn't badass enough you throw in those harmonics at 4:35.. i heard it and had to to see if it was a mistake.. then i realized its on purpose and gives you that additional octave without having to move your left hand past the 7th/10th fret..masterclass playing!
@brendanerskine4158

Not 100% sure it's a harmonic. Just looks like he's fretting higher notes on the right hand. To play a harmonic in that position he'd have to false harmonic and I don't see him doing that. Lovely bit of playing though.

I really love the way you mixed the track. The way the bass impacts the track is way more obvious here, but I think I'd say that I prefer this mix to the original.
That little extra lick at 3:32 👌👌👌 Had to be on the album version too lol 😛 Amazing playing
Bro that hand work at 4:12 gave me goosebumps. Reminds me of one of the first shows I went to where someone did something similar to that and the speakers blew me away. I was in shock. This threw me back.
So clean man, your tone is so tight too. Best part is you're also this clean live, which was amazing to see. Keep inspiring me man!
When I first saw you live, it was during the Plintervals tour. A lot of people didn't have a clue of who you were, I was one of these persons. I knew you were good (cause the tracks you played required to be good) but there was this one single moment, lasted 1 second, everybody stopped playing, you did a explosive slap riff, the full room stopped doing noises, we all looked at each others like "did this really happen ?" So now, I know who you are haha :D.

Simon, I said give me your bass in Toulouse and you still didn't
just a note - we had a recording with a bass player long time ago. He played a Le Fay. It was like plugging in, recording - single try - perfect even in sound. This clip remembers me...
