Ive always thought that Tessa and Princess Catherine look so much alike and both have such a gentle way but they are strong women.

His fiancé is a skater but not as good as Tessa. She is amazing. She has to know he probably has gotten married by now. This will probably get deleted soon.

Must be hard for Scott!! I feel like he is stopping himself of loving Tessa because, like he said, he always try to keep up with her (big projects, the media attention, etc.) I know that for a man, it could be upsetting to feel like you don't measure up to your partner. I feel like Scott might have felt this way. I seriously find it weird that he had many gfs (to forget Tessa?) and is engaged that fast to someone else without telling almost nobody (it looks like it was rushed)...

He shouldn't have to "keep up" with her! I think they are seen to much as a duo that you almost forget they are 2 different people. It's clear that Tessa loves being in the spotlight, not only in skating. She is more outgoing. He is more reserved so he shouldn't follow her arround. It's normal for him to build his own life! We don't know what happened between them! Stop speculating. I don't think it's fair to put it all on him. What do you call many? Not everyone finds the right one the first time round. He has the right to have a life outside of skating and his life with Tessa. Maybe he feels freed of her now. Or if he felt something at some point for her at least he is/ was able to let her go. I'm glad he found his own path and didn't feel the need to follow her around like a lapdog.

But what an interesting and fun interview done by these French interviewers! And, it was remarkable the way in which both Scott and Tessa reacted, and responded, to the questions posed to them by these interviewers, as they did so in a very intelligent way and with immense fair play. Tessa and Scott were a unique pair of excellence in Figure Skating, due to the quality of their performance on the ice rink, the flexibility of their movements, the synchronization between their movements in the different moments of the choreography and the music, and the immense connection between them , highlighted by Scott's masculine sensuality and Tessa's femininity. The good and healthy relationship between Scott and Tessa, the chemistry and affection between them, was evident when they skated, and even when they were publicly filmed. And, this chemistry would not just be based on the need to interpret a choreography well, there was something real in that relationship. But, probably, greater rationality in the way Tessa defines her life goals should having allowed Scott to conclude that Tessa was not interested in building an emotional life project with him. I sincerely hope that Scott has a successful life, both from an emotional and professional point of view. He deserves it so much.

The best one can do is turn on the subtitles, default to french of course, then go to the settings. Under subtitle/CC in settings there is an auto translate, pick English. Since this is automatically generated.... it's still better than nothing.

About half the Canadian population is bilingual fluently, the other half either only speak english or they only speak french.

You overestimate how bilingual Canada is. Yes, we're all taught both languages in school, but only those who put in the effort or grew up with bilingual parents actually end up fluent in both.

I guess they understand French, but I am sorry - I don't.

No, it seems that it was Scott who loved Tessa . It seems that Tessa's life plans were very different from Scott's. Scott continued to work in the field of Figure Skating, now as a coach. Tessa finished her Psychology course, wanted to work in the Corporate area, and took an MBA in Administration. Scott married and has a daughter, Tessa married in 2023 with an Ice Hokei Athlete.
