Her speech was heartbreaking and so REAL....

I am not a Canadian, but married to a Canadian. I have watched several dance skating of these two lovely souls and I love them both. As I am watching Tessa’s speech, I can’t help my self not to cry because the speech is so intense. I wish my husband is still alive so we can watch this video together and for sure, he will become proud not only as a Canadian but proud of having these two young souls became a hero of their country. I have noticed that Marie-France husband looks like my husband at a first glance. Teary eyed as I missed my husband so much.

Tessa is just a really inspiring woman, athlete and just a wonderful and so humble human being. She deserves everything 💕💕💕

Although I’ve never met Tessa irl I truly never acknowledged any woman like her. She’s the closest to an angel. Not only that but she’s so hardworking, dedicated, driven, strong, and beautiful inside & out. She deserves the world! 🥺

It’s amazing how impactful they were in everyone’s lives especially their coaches. Long live the ice dance legends!

As I am watching this video a while ago about the ceremony on Canada's Walk Of Fame I cant' help but feel sad and shed tears for these two wonderful couple who are now retired. Tessa's speech was full of emotion, love and gratitude to her family, to Scot, her coaches,teachers friends and to all who in one way or another made their journey in ice skating a memorable and successful one. Tessa is an inspiration not only to women but to everyone. The way she spoke denotes breeding, intelligence and elegance. Through their hard work, perseverance and dedication they have reaped the fruits of success. The legacy she left will shine forever. Great things happened to great people. They may now be retired but they will remain in my heart forever. My wish is that although they have now separate life their friendship and their closeness with each other will remain They should not be drifting apart. I just want you to be happy in what ever undertaking you may have. Congrats, God Bless you two and thanks for your legacy. From a fan from the Philippines.

Tessa and Scot are so sweet, humble, talented, and ice dancer. They both have a magical exceptional chemistry. So sad they parted in different journey of their personal life. No doubt they will missed each other magical chemistry in real life.! It breaks my heart to see them going to different direction at the end of their career.! Sweet memories but it hurts down to hell.! What a journey of life.! I am hoping to see you guys ice skating one more time for the last time for fun. Good luck to both of you . I think that marrige was too in a hurry and rushed... TO get ENGAGE TO a WOMAN who has not YET DIVORCED is so WRONG... THERE'S NO WISDOM THERE!! ... ESPECIALLY ON BEHALF OF THE WOMAN... BAD STARTERS... I PRAY THE LORD WOULD HAVE MERCY AND SHOW THEM THE LIGTH!

I guess all good things come to an end. What a wonderful 22 years they had together. The fans were hoping for a fairytale ending. Let's hope we get to see them publicly in the future commenting, judging and sharing their expertise on ice dance. Their talent is incomparable, no only are they the greatest ice dancers of their generation, they are also great spokespersons and role models. Hoping they will make appearances for the 2022 Winter Olympics.

She is everything. The way she said that he is her friend and that she is his biggest fan while he mentioned her only as bussines and ice dancing partner was heartbeaking. I cried like crazy. So classy! And yes Scott, Tessa loved and adored you and she still does. No matter what.

I don’t know why everybody keeps saying they aren’t friends anymore, honestly i think we just haven’t seen them together that much because after their retirement they needed to begin the new chapter of their life and then with Covid-19 everything has been kind of on pause I also think they’re starting to miss each other and there is no issue between them, scott talked about tessa in an interview (24th july 2020) and he said he was coaching kids and wanted to get tessa to come with him because of her ability to create beautiful things on the ice, and tessa keeps posting clips photos and edits of Scott and her on social media

Salute of this wonderful woman tessa , still you can ice dance with another great partner on ice. I ❤ you Tessa

I watched a lot of videos and see how happy Fortune Gold was in Korea, so they were unhappy when they got home. Where is the happy Tessos Scott with a smile and a kiss ???????

Tessa really is such a classy lady. With the way Scott was treating her for the last two years of their partnership, he really didn’t deserve a nice speech like that. Maybe they’d actually be good friends today if he hadn’t treated her like she was expendable.

Do not blame Tessa alone for the misfortune of their RELATIONSHIP as a COUPLE... They both decided very early in their career, to never focus on this... THEY HAD SACRIFICED FALLING IN LOVE FOR THE OLYMPIC GOLD FOR SO LONG, THAT THE VERY IDEA OF IT, WITHERED INTO OBLIVION... AND NOW, NONE OF THE TWO CAN FIND THEIR WAY BACK TO ONE ANOTHER IN A NORMAL SCENARIO, THAT IS, BEING FAR FROM THE PRESSURES OF COMPETITION... WHAT CAN I SAY: "YOU CANNOT, BOTH, HAVE THE CAKE AND EAT IT" !!... LIFE'S NOT PERFECT, AND THEY SEEMED TO HAVE SUBLIMED THIS ASPECT OF THEIR LIVES together SO WELL... IT HAS BEEN REPORTED THAT SCOTT IS A DAD OF A BABY GIRL WITH HIS FIANCEE. THE FAIRY TALE LOVE STORY HAS ENDED. VM IS OVER AND DONE: THIS EXPLAINS WHY THE FIANCEE HAS NOT BEEN SEE IN 9 MONTHS. FANS NOW NEED TO MOVE ON SAD SO SAD.
