    @@LaSombraa though year old can’t help myself replying. You want the fastest SUV with luxurious features like air suspension, falcon door , top tech EV for 65k 🤔 I can’t afford a 100k car that’s why I bought model y for 50k. Model x plaid definitely worth 110-120k. I do not think it’s over priced at all. Bentley and aston martin are 200k+ cars which is 2-3 times more price than a mode x and model x is much much more value for the money compared to those brands.

    10:02 actually power doesn't drop at all 0-60. Even at 20% it will do 2.3. One guy on youtube raced plaid on drag strip at 66% and it literally had the same 1/4 time as it does at 100%. I'm blown away with s and x plaid incredible car. Steering feel is subjective from person to person but the best comparison would be to test side by side. Every car steering is different doesn't mean it's worse or better could be just different. Plaid has great steering. I would say that plaid is very good competitor to urus and cayenne gt regardless of price. Great video parker i always liked your style of videos.

  • @sorka95032

    @sorka95032

    2 жыл бұрын

    That's not the reason. The power absolutely does drop as SOC drops. The only way it wouldn't is if you up amps as SOC drops to compensate for the voltage drops as the SOC gets lower. The reason 0-60 is the same at lower states of charge is that the car makes so much power that it is absolutely traction limited up to 60 mph. The Plaid does not make maximum power until it reaches a speed at which it is not traction limited. 1/4 times totally drop as SOC drops on S Plaid. 20% is like 9.7 seconds vs 9.2 at 100%.

    Tesla's claims for 0-60 and 1/4 mile for the Model X are REALLY understated. The Plaid powertrain was more designed and prioritized for the Model S to get an insane time which is why they say 1.99 with rollout, etc. For the Model X, they just slapped some stats on there website knowing damn well the Model X will in fact run closer 2.2-3 seconds 0-60 and 9.6-8 in the 1/4 mile.

    Everyone has benchmarked performance vehicles using 0-60 and 1/4 times since forever. Tesla creates and sells the world’s fastest car, the Tesla Model S Plaid which runs a 0-60 in 1.99 - 2.2 seconds and a quarter mile in 9.2 seconds at 150+ mph. Tesla then creates and sells the world’s fastest SUV, the Tesla Model X Plaid which runs a 0-60 somewhere in between 2.3 to 2.7 seconds and a quarter mile in the 9’s. Some people say, we shouldn’t focus on 0-60 or 1/4 times anymore, electric is lame, and there’s no noise factor. I say, if you have never driven a Plaid, you really need to! I was against electric vehicles myself until I owned a Tesla Model X. I have driven a Model S Plaid and it’s an incredible vehicle. I have a Model X Plaid on order and I’m super excited that this video was made. Tesla makes amazing vehicles and electric is the future. Great video!

    How long have you owned your car ? All new cars are exciting the first 6 months tops. Then it's a used car. Just wait till you have to pay for Tesla only maintenance. If something goes wrong down the road and it's not under warranty forget about it. The best is when the battery doesn't hold a charge as long. Just like your smartphone and your laptop. Then you're gonna say that V-8 was great all those years for a reason. Anyone could work on it and trade it in no problem or lease one and have a new one ever 2 or 3 years. Give it time you will see.

    70mph, not kmh. And on that road, I've driven 100s of times, it's reckless. Especially with the MX's hippo-like weight and not fantastic brakes. (MX P90D and MS P100D owner.)
