Tesla Model 3 interior, seat and cargo space

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

We tested various items to see if it fits in a Model 3. Overall, it's quite spacious in there. The only downside is the lack of a large hatch opening.

    At first I thought it was silly putting the tall guy lying down inside the car, but when you mentioned that you can camp out in the car, that was genius! You don't even have to camp out. Maybe during a long drive, you just wanna lay down and stretch your legs for an hour at a rest stop.

    Good job showing people what’s possible. We have a long Tandem bike that splits in two that I think might fit in the back with the seats folded down. I gather the area in the back widens as one moves closer to behind the front seats.

    Can you please post the width between the two inner isofix / latch / child seat holders for Model 3 and model S? This way we can compare the space for the middle seat, that is left when two child seats are installed using isofix / latch system. This value is the same regardless of the child seat you use and makes things comparable with other cars. Thanks! i.e the kia e-Niro has a rear seat bench width of 131cm (vs m3 with 130cm) and a isofix distance of 43cm. I pushed the seats out as far as possible when hooked up and measured the distance on the isofix holders.

    It would be realy useful if Tesla made the design of the frunk or the well in the trunk to take a full size spare wheel. The company I work for is going to be buying 2,600 cars this year. No Teslas on the allowable list due to no spare wheel and quality issues observed from Tesla owner vlogs. Tesla has to start appealing to fleet buyers.

    +Bjørn Nyland That does not explain why a HUD isn't a possible upgrade from Tesla Motors. The only reason not to offer it as an upgrade is that Tesla Motors want its buyers to get used to the centre screen arrangement, as it is a part of the chosen design, not a cost issue. To many people opting for a HUD would signal that Tesla and Elon Musk made a mistake. The only good thing about Tesla Motors not selling a HUD is that there will be more options for those who want a HUD in their Model 3, as I am sure several aftermarket suppliers will rise to meet the demand.

  • @kasmopaya2676

    @kasmopaya2676

    6 жыл бұрын

    I think it has something to do with the "anti-sell" that is going on right now. For instance, no dual motor option yet, no small battery yet. Everything to hold back even more pre orders, they cant meet the demand anyway. Later when everything runs smooth in the Gigafactory the M3 will get AWD and probably a lot of other things like roof rack and HUD. Right now too many options would slow down the production line, they keep it as simple as possible. They learned from the Model X with too much, too fast. Talked to a BMW engineer the other day, he said HUD costs only about 20$ to produce, most of it is software. It shouldn't be too expensive to add. Could take some time, but i bet M3 will get HUD some day. Right now they want you to buy Model S or X, later the M3 will get much more interesting. PS: White interior option just leaked with pictures, just my point. M3 will get much more (interesting) options in the future. Right now its stripped down for max. production speed. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pp6CyayYe5fOorA.htmlm14s
