Except DBD actually has a canon board game, this is a knockoff. But yeah, I can definitely see the similarities.

Perfect review! Jānises parody of the victims team still makes me laugh a lot! I think this game will be interesting for my non-geek-gamers friends. Added to the wishlist

We'd go for Terrorscape. Just so much easier to get to the table and a lot more fun overall. But they are quite different

Have you guys tried any of the expansions? Any favorite or even ones you'd consider must/haves?

Reminds me a little of Last Friday, which is a fun game too. The box/screen/dice tower gimmick is very cool. The typography on this one would drive me nuts, though. The random red letters and font sizes are super annoying. TerrorsCape, anyone?

Yeah, we're not fans for the cover. Everything else is so much more colorful and better looking, it doesn't do justice to the game

Looks pretty awesome and eye catching, hopefully the price is also great

I don't think you can yet. Jāgaida vai šī spēle vispār būs veikalos. Bet esmu pārliecināts ka būs vēl viena kampaņa un sliktākajā gadījumā var aizņemties no mums uzspēlēt ;)

Some similarities with Sabotage, not least the game box as separator. You alluded to (accidental) cheating/mistakes, and that can be a problem with such games. I find that especially so with players new to such a game, as I can't play against them and help them be certain of the rules. In such situations I'm more inclined to not be a player myself, but rather oversee the game for them.

That's a good strategy. We always before playing our first games or playing with someone for the first time warn everybody that it's a learning game and to not take the mistakes too seriously. That usually helps to loosen up the mood for everyone:)

Just the base game isn't that expensive, not accounting for delivery costs. But with the expansions and/or deluxe editions is pretty pricy.

Yes, for sure. We have played this enough and there is no wear or tear yet. Mostly because it is quite easy to assemble.
