Thats great your watching for Reese turn your attention to players like A'Ja Wilson & Jonquel Jones, Boston and players like that. You are missing out on some pretty astounding woman players. If Reese is your only reason for watching your either a not to bright and watching her for one reason or you dont know much about how good a lot of these woman are.

fk man its 1 pre season game you fkn people need to relax. Who would you rather see Rodman type players or Kobe, Steph, orMJ type players. Sorry CC just plays a more exciting brand of basketball fair or not that is where the game has evolved to. People want to see 26' bombs not a rebound and put back. Its sad I know because there are a lot of great woman players. I wanted to see the sky to notes much for Reese but I wanted to see Cardoso. Also wanted to see how they play together. I get it but it is what it is.

She is not going to single-handedly bring more viewership to women’s basketball. The fact that they covered her over two top ten draft picks who went from high school rivals to pro teammates is utter BS. More people are interested in the new found camaraderie of Angel and Kamilla vs watching cc do what we already know she can do which is shoot. Not to take away from cc’s talent level, but she isn’t the only one who’s bringing new fans to women’s basketball this season. If the WNBA wants more interest in their league, they have to cover who people want to SEE.

As far as who is the draw why is the game against the aces in vegas Almost sold out and the cheapest ticket is 140.00 for the cheap seats and up to 2000.00 dollars for floor seats and 18,000 seats and less than 1000 seats left. But Sky vs Aces most expensive seat is 185.00 for floor seats and tickets start at 19.00. t- mobile still has about14,000 seats left for the game. So who is putting asses in the seats. better do your research before you run your cock holster. Look at Sky games and see how many home sellouts they have and how many road games have come remotely close to selling out. I will tell you how many none. There are plenty of Reese & Cardoso's in the league right now. here are a few for you lets start with the best big in the game A'Ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones, DelleDonne, Boston, Satou Sabally, Dewanna Bonner, Rhyne Howard who at 6'2" is every bit as good as Reese they all average over 18 a game and snare dbl dbl's just as much as Reese. So as far as putting asses in the seats Clark is the king of ticket sales right noe whether you like it or not. Sorry she is white then all the black people would have her the second coming instead of whining like little bitches. The one thing I agree on the WNBA does not promote all of there stars enough because all those names I mentioned you never hear of and they are all great players and there games are every bit as good or in most cases better than Reese & Cardoso right now. Not saying that wont change but it will be fun for me to watch the rookies go against these woman.

Well for starters this is one of the reasons the wnba is failing. Missing this opportunity to get every one engaged is being missed so let them fu$k it up. It’s gonna take all the new rookies to move the needle as I don’t think there will ever be a better draft pool so they only have a short window. I think they are doing their best to promote where they can which is social media. They don’t have a TV deal right now that allows them to promote all across television. Hopefully when their TV deal is up next year they can definitely get more TV time and i believe they will

They will because it's not their money being spent for the most part. They are funded by the NBA...this league hasn't turned a profit since it's been created. There is clearly unqualified people running this league. As much technology we have in the world, they could have at least made these games available online through streaming...could have offered it through the WNBA website which would have also brought traffic to it and could have influenced ticket and merchandise sales. That's marketing 101....you don't have to be a genius to think that up.

Apparently the reason why the game wasn’t aired was because lack of media because of a baseball game. Hopefully next year when they get better media deals things like this will happen less often. Until then, I’m enjoying the fact we’re now seeing more WNBA games on tv compared to even last year. It’s a great improvement compared to where we was. 🙂‍↔️

I agree they should’ve covered this game. I do not want to see C. Clark. Angel Reese is the reason why I started watching women’s basketball games, ever. C. Clark lost two championships one was in the hands of Angel, Reese and LSU and the other was in the hands of Raven shut them down Johnson of South Carolina. WNBA has nothing to do with the broadcasting of the game. Bally owned the rights, but they had a contract to broadcast a MLB baseball game, that game got rained out and was played yesterday instead. So they had to broadcast it.

She has no kind of mid range shot at all. None zero nada. I would much rather watch A'Ja Wilson in the pros or JuJu at the college ranks. Let's face it 10 points and 12 rebounds is just not that exciting to watch. Watching someone hit Logo threes hit consistently from 26" out dish out assist drive the hoop is what sells tickets now a days. That is just what the game has evolved into. That is what sell the game. Would I have liked to see the game yes I am a fan but realist know your gonna get what sells tickets. I looked at tickets for the Aces Fever game cheapest one is 140.00 up to over 2 grand guess what 18,000 seats and the game is almost a sell out. Now Chicago Sky most expensive ticket is 185 front row plenty to be had from 19 dollars and up. lets face it like it or not she sells tickets because of her type of game Reese is really good at what she does. But do you pay to see Rodman or MJ. or Kobe.

I remember when they announced the game being on league pass and television on the grounds of ''if available". Bally Sports was commited to airing an MLB game, but had told the WNBA if they were available they would broadcast the WNBA game. But they weren't available. They could have been, if they chose to get sued by MLB for breach of contract.

No real knock on her she just did not develop one in college. Don't get me wrong because I am white okay. She is great around the basket great rebounder and gets to the line. Unfortunately I can name 5 off the top of my head that are twice the player she is at this point. A'Ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones, Boston, Della Donn. (sorry I had to throw in a couple of white girls out of the 5) Like I said her game nowadays is boring. Her game is more like Dennis Rodman great rebounder no mid range shot. Clark is more like Steph Curry. So unfortunate that people think a Rodman like player just isn't as exciting to watch as someone who buries 26' shots on a consistent basis. She also dishes out some hella good assist and drives the basket really well. Thats where the game is today like it or not. Pretty sure the next great scorer will be JuJu when she is done in college. Paige Beuckers will be another one to watch. Oh I am sorry did I mention another white kids name. forgot our talent is judged by skin color not talent. When are people going to realize as good as Reese is around the basket until she gets any kind of mid range game she will not be thought of as a great pro. A very very very very very good pro but not a 5 tool player. there is a reason there were 3 bigs taken ahead of her in the draft. She has flaws in her game and it has nothing to do with the color of her skin. I like Reese and hope she develops because she is a really good player. I love her game around the hoop. LA. Sparks needed a big and took Rikea Jackson what's that tell you.Washington had a chance at her and took Edwards. There is a reason folks the people and scouts who know said all along how is she going to compete against the bigs at the next level that was the huge question mark. I think having Cardoso is a huge advantage for her it takes some of the pressure off by having Cardoso eating up a lot of attention in the paint when there both on the floor. I live in Vegas the cheapest ticket at T-Mobile arena for the fever and the aces is 140.00 floor seats are going for 2000.00 and the 18,000 seats are all but sold out no more than a few hundred seats left. For the Sky most expensive one is 185.00 for the floor. the rest start at 19.00. only about 1/3 of the tickets are sold. This is a great sports town they back there WNBA team with packed houses every home game. So who is really the person most people want to see. Its not because she is white it's because she is one of the best players to ever come out of college. if JuJu keeps putting up her numbers she will be another I cant wait to see again. I was fortunate to watch her in the Pac 12 tournament held here in Vegas. It's not about race for me at all its about talent.

If you want the truth if you remember the guards in the championship game scorched Iowa not so much Reese she had a decent game but look at the box score. The guards torched them. I agree the WNBA needs better PR. whoever is doing there's is doing a great job of messing it up. Reese has been all over ESPN along with Clark. I dont know why people are saying why isn't Reese getting more attention. ESPN just did a great piece on them and Colin Cowherd did another one. So I dont get all the whining about only Reese. Brink has had a great start to her WNBA Career but you wouldn't know it unless your those of us who pay attention to the league. Jackson right along side of her are doing great.

She literally carried her team to the finals TWICE with no real WNBA prospects on her team, won numerous awards, broke many records and was leading the country in assists and points whilst being tripled team every time she stepped on the court. It makes sense why she’s receiving the most coverage as a number 1 pick in the draft. If she has a similar career in the WNBA she will easily go down as one of the best in basketball history.

That's on their TEAM's marketing people to promote . . . Seems they're the ones not promoting their players and definitely not recognizing the social media gift they were given when Angel and Camilla came on board. Don't blame the Fever's marketing and the City of Indianapolis for recognizing how much money they can make on CC and AB's names. Businesses there are tripping over themselves rushing to align with The WNBA Fever AND Pacers. Other WNBA teams are looking for bigger venues for their home games due to the sudden popularity of WNBA. Maybe you should complain to Chicago's teams marketing team and general manager and stop blaming CC for Chicago WNBA "dropping the ball". New Yorks teams owner willingly payed a $500,000 fine for violating WNBA contract rules that requires ALL WNBA to fly commercial flights to games rather than chartered. He paid for the flights AND the fines for team members because he wanted them to be better rested and more comfortable before their games. The leagues thinks that's an unfair advantage so they fined them. Clearly the WNBA has some kinks to work out.

If anything, the Aces are going to develop their own media and push their own narrative . They market better than any other team in the league and have literally made their players social media stars. The Sky should’ve had Cardoso and Reese shirts printed up and ready to go on draft night. When Cardozo said “nobody’s going rebound on us”. They should’ve ran with that and developed the story of two rivals coming together. They didn’t learn from dropping the ball with Candace Parker. 😐 I imagine that a lot of the narrative around Clark is being driven by her personal business team and the Fever front office. I don’t think the WNBA has the capacity to sell water in the desert.

The WNBA worked to get most of the Fever games broadcast this season. I put no blame on Clark, she is doing her thing and is a star that is getting her due. Point is, the League is putting their eggs in one basket instead of spreading the storyline out. SMH. I feel like they intentionally did this. They're making it appear as if everyone wants to see CC and ensuring everyone notices her. They're giving her more attention than Angel. CC has jerseys, hats, T-shirts, and more with her name on them in stores, while Angel only has a jersey. The WNBA seems to be pushing to sell more of CC's merchandise, creating the impression of a racial disparity.The way things are being handled, it seems like we'll need to unite and enlist KZreadrs to attend the games and livestream them. The Sky's seats are selling out as quickly as the Fevers', and ticket prices in Chicago were higher.

I was very disappointed. Bought the league pass and they fail to broadcast 2 of the best rookies.

I was not happy when we couldn't see our Chicago Sky Team play & our Great Ladies who play. I am a huge Fan of Angel Reese & I love watching her play & have followed Angel Reese Career since She played for Baltimore & LSU now her Career on the Professional Career with the WNBA & with Angel being on the Chicago " Chi " Sky Team. And now you guys got " a New Sky Fan here in me ." I also , like Kamilia Cardoso a lot and She is a very good Basketball Player too. I now think of Angel Reese & Kamilia being like " the Twin Towers Force & Energetic & Powerful Team " they remind me when I used to live in San Antonio, Texas & used to watch David Robinson & Tim Duncan play together with the San Antonio Spurs & they were called " The Twin Towers " in Basketball. I literally see Angel Reese & Kamilia Cardozo being " The Twin Towers #2 " in the WNBA & on the Chicago Sky Women's Team.

Dream fan here! Excited to see what T. Weatherspoon does coaching the Sky. Great to see Chennedy Carter as well. I know its going to be a great season for the WNBA! Its always been great in terms of the play/players...but nice to see more fans tuning in and more support for the league. Excited for the start of the season!! Like some others have said in the comments, I hope the league gets a better TV deal.

Coaching should definitely be in Lindsay's future. She's very smart and articulate.

She’s the only one whose popularity is comparable to top NBA and NFL players. Someone has to spearhead the movement and it’s her. You have your opinion and other people have theirs. Clearly lots of other people see the talent in other players. Caitlin Clark was good and played ball for all four years yet and NOBODY cared until this year. She's always been good, why didn't anyone care about her until now? The reason is, 2024 has been a great year for women's bball. There was the extraordinary clutch game winning championship shot from Cardoso, the talent, defense, personality and competitiveness from Reese, the scuffle between LSU and SC. All of that contributed to the popularity of the women's game this year. At the end of the day, basketball will always be a team sport and whether you want to believe it or not people DO want to see the rivalry & chemistry of other players like Cardoso and Reese (twin towers). You don't have to be fearful that other players get attention. At the end of the day there is room for all skilled players just like LeBron, Curry and Kobe etc. this ultimately makes the sport better.

CC lost two back to back; the first to Angel Reese, SEC player of the year that same season. The second to Angels teammate, Kamilla Cardoso. Actually it was Cardoso's teammate Raven Johnson who put a Masterlock on CC and made her shot 35% from the field in a loss. CHAMPIONS deserve the accolades, NOT the 2nd place runner up...

Clark was double teamed non stop as well, and she simply didn't have the team behind her. Clarks abilities are obvious and clear, she is unlimited range, elite passing skills, both id argue are the best womens basketball skills ever, iv never seen anyone in womens basketball EVER, have court awareness like Clark, and her unlimited range is also unpresidended in the womens league. Not to mention since curry, basketball is about the 3 ball. Im not shittin on anyone, I think they all should be viewable, not just clark, but clark is the most popular, by far. and its because of the skills I mentioned. Just because she was locked down defensively for parts of the game does and lost a team game, doesn't lower the hype of the talent she has. Id also argue that your discriminating as well, thinking of ANY reason to hate on Clark. She has done nothing wrong. I get it, the media loves her, but its mostly due to her skills not her color, and don't discount her humbleness, America loves that in general, which adds to her popularity.

Was definitely looking for the game, bought League Pass and was disappointed that I couldn't catch it. I thought maybe some highlights would show up but couldn't find that either. No, all the live regular games/playoffs are on the League Pass. Except for national televised games on ESPN, etc... those are blackouts games. Partly because of my work hours & preference - I like watching the games on demand ( with the score results on off...) as it's just the pure game shown with no commercials & no halftime breaks. Of course as was the case with the preseason game, if the local tv affiliate chooses to show a baseball game instead.... But I agree with your comment - the league has to do better as the Lynx Coach Reeves stated after the game that she's been saying this for the last few years now & the old ways of doing things must be adjusted to change things on the fly as the times are demanding that now. Having a plan B or C in place is now the new normal & should have already been in place especially with the free agency & player movements of the last few years.

big deal double double are an easy accomplishment in todays game Christ she almost had 1 and was 2-8 from the field. Hardly a stellar day. So what real credit do you give a player who is 2-8 from the field. She should rebound thats her main freaking job for this team right now. I am not a hater and she will get better. I truly hope the best for her but all you simpletons need to realize 2-8 dbl dbl or not is not some great game. Clark stunk it up to 5-13 from 3 not much better from inside the 3. It's 1 preseason game for both like did you think they were gonna be dominant. Got news for you Reese has it tougher because there are a lot of great bigs in the WNBA I think Clark has a bit of an easier time because of her style of play. wish them both the best.
