Yes you’re right the WNBA forced the Lynx to move the game to make sure CC has more views. It had nothing to do with the Minnesota Timberwolves having their playoff game that day in the same arena the Lynx play in, and an NBA playoff game is going to be a higher priority than a preseason game. I almost paid then saw other people online saying they paid to see the Sky and then the app said the game was unavailable. They paid and still didn't get to see the game. Smh

What did Bird win before he got into the league? He lost to Magic Johnson. They became big of how talented they were. They both were guards and small forward who didn’t play near the rim. Magic could pass like crazy and Bird could shoot out of the ball. Angel Reese or Kamila don’t have those skills. So it’s not comparable. Angel Reese or Camila didn’t win player of the year while Caitlin won it twice. So unless they can get their scoring up and be more exciting then it won’t be a rivalry

The game was supposed to actually be Saturday and it was moved to Friday. And I believe the network that was going to broadcast the game couldn't because the there was a baseball game already in that time slot. I still feel like NBA network could've streamed it or one of teams media ppl could've set up a broadcast on their KZread channel or something.

I wish these other WNBA players would sit tight and let this thing get off the ground. Caitlin has brought eyes and butts in numbers to the WNBA that weren't there before. If Caitlin had not gone to the WNBA this season these same women would not be complaining since they wouldn't be getting debuted via mainstream media anyway. If you ladies would just be patient and let the media build up your league by way of Caitlin, then everybody will eventually eat. If Caitlin wasn't in the WNBA, then it would be business as usual - NO BUSINESS AT ALL!

WNBA should have made the games at different time slot .why have all eyes on Clark knowing it would have taking away from Reese and Cardoso views showing them both at the same time slot..They should have had only one game on that day then everybody would have had there moment to shine ...

Why does the Sky fans have to fight to be televised? Reese is obviously popular.

I chalk it up to growing pains. I don’t think it was anything intentional. The WNBA has never had this much interest before. They’re having to adjust on the fly in real time.

I mean they are doing just fine. They have gotten more engagement and views then they ever have by a mile and that’s supposedly with the bad marketing of only showing Caitlin Clark. How can it be bad marketing if it’s proving to be highly successful?

Truth be told they haven't aired any game. I was looking for the 1st Caitlin Clark game and it was not on tv. Watching NBA Playoffs anyways but i would've watched some WNBA games if being showed. They had Hocky on i think.

These are freaking exhibition games. They mean nothing. Exhibition games are a rip off. Ignore them and wait for the regular season when games count for real. Refuse to watch these exhibitions.

They realized if they aired both games and they were playing at the same, fans would have a choice and they might not choose Caitlyn, which wouldn’t have followed the narrative they’re trying to put out, but they failed. Fever: 6,500 in a sold out arena. The demand was so high that the lowest ticket prices were 80 dollars. That more than most regular season nba games! Sky: 7,000 in a 20,000 seat arena.

So over this nonsense, The WNBA will shape things and get there, but we need to understand that if Clark didn't face LSU or South Carolina, they were not hitting those numbers for ratings. People could of tuned in to see Reese or Cardoso; they didn't, it's NOT about race on this one. What's hard to understand about that Clark brought eyes, so they have given her team a platform. They will dod the same for other teams, but it takes time; teams had 1 game televised the entire season. Dominate and make people wanna tune in. Indiana tickets are selling so the WNBA can spend more, Are people buying tickets to Sky games the same way they are to the Fever?
