Something that I'm noticing, is the difference in attendance. Dallas' arena was sold out for a pre-season game. By the way, Angel wasn't right there with Kamilla. She walked over to her after Camilla got up off the floor and walked again. What a draft Chicago had to get both Angel and Kamilla. Twin towers, they will create a formidable defensive wall in the low post.

I would literally get into fights on the playground with kids who would tell me that Mickey Mantle was better than Mays. After she was drafted her T-shirt became the number one selling athletic memorabilia on the planet. Though this country is still full of systemic racism, money gets followed. MJ, Lebron, Bryant, Bonds, Mahomes, Judge, generate revenue outside the games they play and as a result, media follows them.

People are complaining that the WNBA didn't broadcast the SKY game, and it is rather bizarre, considering that for some unknown reason, the game was changed from Saturday to Friday. Given the game change, it would have made sense if they had moved it to broadcast the game on the WNBA app. I'd like to hear the explanation for that first because that's a WNBA decision. Secondly, Chicago is a huge media market. Then again why wasn't the first featured game opener the league the defending champs ACES?

Now, marketing deception is what should be reported to the Federal Trade Commission because it is advertising fraud. You have to be transparent in the products you sell to the public. The WNBA set up the league pass advertising as if you would have access to the SKY game on the KZread app. You didn't know the SKY game would not be broadcast until you purchased the league pass package. This is a deceptive advertising practice for fans who buy the package to watch the SKY game. Had I not heard on a number of the KZread channels that they were not going to broadcast the SKY game on the KZread league pass app, I would have been in the process of making that purchase. Had I lost my 7.00 dollars, I would have filed a complaint under deceptive advertising practices myself. Clark is good I've only seen her play once in the 2023 championship game but I'm a fan of a lot of other players in the college and pro game, it's a style preference. I wasn't interested in watching Catlin, and I should have had the option to watch other games. I mean, the purpose of the WNBA league pass is to watch a variety of pro basketball products, isn't it?

I feel like they intentionally did this. They're making it appear as if everyone wants to see CC and ensuring everyone notices her. They're giving her more attention than Angel. CC has jerseys, hats, T-shirts, and more with her name on them in stores, while Angel only has a jersey. The WNBA seems to be pushing to sell more of CC's merchandise, creating the impression of a racial disparity.The way things are being handled, it seems like we'll need to unite and enlist KZreadrs to attend the games and livestream them. The Sky's seats are selling out as quickly as the Fevers', and ticket prices in Chicago were higher.

Blame Bally Sports, a region sports channel. It chose to air a baseball game between the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins. So they didn't bother to ask and pay the WNBA for televising a preseason game.

Unless I miss the connection, that has nothing to do with KZread or the WNBA app. First of all, why did the WNBA move the game from Saturday to Friday if the move wasn't made to accommodate broadcasting the game? Second, why advertise the game on the KZread WNBA league pass app as if you could click, pay, and play the game unless the league intends not to allow us to see the game. Furthermore, 36 of 40 Indiana games are locked in for national viewing. Wouldn't it be reasonable for the league's front office to try to put other teams with top 10 draft rookies in the rotation to see if more fandom views could draw more media broadcasting? Chicago is one of the biggest markets in this nation regarding media and advertising. If Bally didn't want to broadcast the game, then why didn't they seek another broadcast partner or do the game themselves. Regardless of who plays better, Reese has 5M followers on her social media platform, and they wanted to see her play on something. Over 200,000 thousand people watched a telephone broadcast, and now 1M have viewed the Twitter broadcast. If I'm doing the numbers, the league pass could have made 1.4M, and no telling how much more after the original broadcast.

Bought my script to WNBA right before sky set to play. Looking forward to seeing sky play and all they showed was fever. Looked at all future games were on showing fever available to watch. I just canceled membership and got refund. I am not going to give them my hard earned $ so they can pander to 1 demographic and not all of us.
