Some people racially abuse their partners. So that assumption of yours is invalid, a false defence and a dangerous shield that can hide covert racism. Nella might need some counselling? To be that offended over a throw away everyday comment? Grief is horrendous and crippling. If she is still experiencing that level of grief then maybe she should not have been put in this position by ITV? Having said that. Oh no, he knew that her father had died prior to what he said. But she’s definitely took it way out of context and overreacted. If she’s still healing from the death of her parents, that’s fair enough, but there was no need to talk to him like that whatsoever. It was very disrespectful. She should have definitely apologised to Fred regardless. She’s not coming across very well at all in this, tarnishing her own career because she’s not conducting herself properly.

I don’t know if it’s her age or education. But she has no idea of the context and meaning of things, such as phrases. But what she done was really disturbing, just a random mental breakdown. Over nothing. She also made up her own scenario in her head to give herself a reason to mentally breakdown and trigger herself.

She totally took what Fred said out of context and just wanted to make a drama out of nothing!! She wants to get over herself!! Fred is one of the nicest personalitys out there!!! Everyone should boycott her channel!!

Listen. She has totally misread the situation. I wonder if maybe she has a spectrum disorder. Because they sometimes can completely misunderstand something's said or certain situations. Not excusing it. She is in the wrong but idk she's going to see that until she sees it back. Also everyone is going to react to this differently... But also what I think Nella needs to keep in mind is English isn't Fred's first language and sometimes people who speak English as a second, they can be quite blunt... Most people learn English in common things people say. And a lot of people say "I'm old enough to be your......" It's a common saying and he's clearly not meant anything by it. But she's taken it to heart.

@@MariaDiez-qo6cb oh completely! I used to teach foreign students English and it put mine to shame sometimes! But sometimes they can be quite straightforward if that makes sense.. they don't mean to be and it's usually when they are giving you a criticism that it tends to be more straightforward

We have grown up in a society when people have allowed the saying “you made me feel …” for far too long This is a classic case when Nella has felt a type of way due to the loss of her Dad. That is fine. Objectively, he is old enough to be your dad. That is not an insult towards Nella’s Dad or Nella. What it obviously brought up, we’re particular emotions that Nella was uncomfortable with. That is fine. Saying this, NELLA and Nella alone is responsible for how she acts/behaves when she feels this way, not Freddie.
