The love story between the main leads (which doesn’t start until E11) was beautiful and tragic at the same time. Their path took them to a HAPPY ENDING but filled with many angst scenes. I found this erhu (Chinese violin) a few weeks ago and the beautiful music had given me the urge to rewatch and somehow I ended up making a FMV for this old drama. These two are among the few Cdrama fantasy dramas that I ❤️. There’s something about a tragic love story that stays with you for a long time. These two fall into that category. 😍

I couldn’t agree more. No matter how old, this drama is very memorable to me. 😍

One of the best hair I have seen in Cdrama and whoever was the hair stylist did an excellent job. It suits him so well at times seems like his own hair.

I swear after all the angst before the REVENGE of Bai Qian as the Queen THAT WAS THE MOST SATISFYING LOL AND EVERYONE ON THE COMMENTS ON THAT EPISODE WAS ON FIRE AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

Fantastic drama, i watched all 58episodes. Truly eternal love from Ye hua, he gave the female lead everything but received selfish love from the female lead. She gave her master everything. She loved her Master more than she loved the crown prince, she just didn't realize it. Even within the 3years when he died, she was supposed take care of A-li their son, but she abandoned him and was wallowing in her guilt and grief.....nice acting from all the cast especially Mark Chao

I've already watched so many Chinese drama but this one is the top one for me. Yang Mi and Mark Chao 👌💖💖💖

Just finished this one recently and fell in love every single episode Yang Mi and Mark Chao should really do another drama together I love their chemistry in this story.

Omg it was my very first Cdrama, I absolutely adore it and love when I find beautiful edits of it.

all those episodes worth it at the end, i even re watched it over and over again, the bgms are masterpieces!! story line and 2 main characters are rocking it! Ye Hua left a special mark on me, goshhhh

Best Chinese drama ever. Have watched a lot of Chinese dramas this one is by far the best. I have watched it 8 times now but l can't get tired of it. It's just amazing. The love story is tragic but ends happily because they both fought for their love. Misunderstandings are part of love but they overcame. Just wonderful ❤

It was reverse for me. I watched the drama and then Yang Yang’s movie. You will get a better depth of their story with the drama. I definitely felt more of the love and angst from the drama. The book was a good read too. I would highly recommend watching this drama if you have a chance. 😊

Love eternal love so much. But there was a multiple scene that bothered me so much. Bai Qian did not change wardrobe the whole week. Imagine sleeping, warping to different galaxy with same outfit. Just can’t take it. Other than that I love them. One of my favorite 3rd Chinese drama ever💐

Very well done condensed version of their love story! I wish there was a brief scene of Ye Hua’s spirit holding her as Ayin while he was still the golden lotus…which was when they truly first (sort of) knew one another. While this isn’t my all time favorite story, they are my favorite story couple.

OMG....this is an epic MASTERPIECE! Your video made me emotional because you can feel so much emotion through this amazing cover song. I cried at 13:44 when you turned the color from color to black/white when Ye Hua "died". Their love story was so sad despite the happy ending. Amazing video!

Every time I hear it, it always reminds me of this drama. 🥺 At first, I couldn’t decide if I should use the actual OST or this instrumental version. However, I ended up choosing this instrumental because it was so beautiful and sad at the same time. Just like the main couple’s love story. These two are one of the most memorable couples in Cdramalad.

Bellissimo dramma.spero in una versione italiana, anche perché non riesco a trovare tutti gli episodi con i sottotitoli, e ho fatto davvero fatica a mettere insiemein un filo logico la storia. Hands down the best Chinese drama of all time! I considered a few times if I was going to watch or not, but ultimately chose not to cause the leads weren't going to meet for soooo many episodes in and I don't find the ML attractive at all (i'm sorry, I'm so shallow haha ^.^;) but 5:38 what a jerk!!! @@HAULINGWOLFAMV2.0 The first 10 episodes are an intro to the characters. You get some scenes of the main leads, but their interactions don’t start until around E10/11. Everything ties together at the end, so I recommend you watch from the beginning to get a better understanding of the drama.

I don’t think there was ever a wedding scenes of these two together. Even in Eternal Love of Dream, there’s no scene of them together despite Bai Qian in a wedding attire.

I forgot about the novel, but in the drama they only had 1 child (which was A-Li).

I don't understand why they are always having sad painful end. It makes me not to want to continue watching the series.
