Drama: Best Choice Ever (Chinese) 2024 Total Episodes: 37 Where to Watch: Tencent/WeTV or Viki Song: “Daylight” by Taylor Swift This is a FAMILY-oriented drama so the fluffy romance will not be the main theme of this drama. This is more geared toward mending broken relationships between parents and children. This drama shows us the generation gap and how to address some of those issues. In addition, this drama shows us the love of family is like the sun: warm, healing and powerful. I have Asian parents, so I found the parent/child dynamics very familiar and relatable. While I did not like the behavior, nagging, and meddling from the mother, I find this drama gives a good perspective from both sides. I can see why many people are annoyed with the mother and may still not like her even after her redemption arc at the end. We saw her true intentions and desires for her children at the end. The one supporting character that I cried for was their grandma. I was expecting her death, but it still hurts watching that scene and how the main leads were mourning for her. It also made me sad to see that YZM did not have a chance to forgive his father before the car accident. 😭 I personally watched the whole drama because I love the main leads: Yang Zi & Xu Kai. I had hoped they ended the drama with our main leads at least engaged rather than just ending the drama the way it did.

One of my fav dramas this year. It was so simple yet heartwarming. The chemistry between Yang zi and Xu kai was amazing. I loved the fact that they didn't just focus on the romance between the leads but also on family relations. It's really an amazing drama.

the storyline is explained very nicely, every characters were wow specially the granny really good and nice family.And just a happy ending 😊😊😊❤❤❤❤

The generation gap is a real thing! Addressing it in this series in such a painful and poignant way hopefully helps both sides understand each other's point of view. Great edit!

This was so beautifully put together. And it took us on the full emotional journey. Loved it so much. Going to watch the drama now, I've always loved this female leads dramas. She has really good story line with happy endings without too much conflict. And Xukai is everyones favourite as well. The storylines he picks are great as well.

This drama was so good at the starting but I didn't liked the ending episodes they just kept reducing the leads scene.both the actors did great job xu Kai acting was best in this drama . They had so much room for improvment as the lead characters were stunning.I personally loved mai chenghuan the way she was so mature unlike the other cdrama actresses.

Yang Zi lost so much weight - I almost didn’t recognize her! Don’t get me wrong, she’s gorgeous either way; it was just a shock. She and Xu Kai have great onscreen chemistry, though I noticed their bts clips show her more reserved than with other dramas. Might just have been the vibe on set though. My one complaint is that we didn’t see enough pda and (as lascivious as this sounds), we didn’t get to see them have a wedding spend the night together. 😭

Okay. I did drop this drama because it's boring. But after looking at your edit, I'll give a second chance to watching this drama because I love Xu Kai. I felt emotional when Zhiming lose two of his family and Chenghuan always there for him. T^T I feel heavy to see him being devasted. @@MK916Editz so looking forward for your genius take on this drama. 3 different time lines with few repeated scenes shot at different pov due to the alteration during the time travel. But one important scene remains the same. The day the ml falls for the fl ❤️‍🔥. The combo of first love and love at first sight. He falls first and harder. No definite end yet but i truly wonder what triggered this time travel. His desperate true love might be the key that starts all this.
