According to Romans 13 the messenger has the ability to make the message a clanging symbol by not having love. Worse than that, the messenger themselves became nothing if they have no love. Doctrine means nothing without love. The gospel has no real effect without love. He just makes people twice as much a child of hell as himself

Thank you Ravi Zacharias! You are still reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for defending the Gospel.

This is what Jesus warned about. "They sit in moses's seat therefore, do as they say but not as they do."

Ravi is and was a living example of the verse “ the gifts and calling of God is without repentance” No matter how much we may struggle with sin, any sin big or small…the gift is still operational and our calling does not change. He was a great asset to the kingdom of God and also very anointed in his teaching, no doubt about it. He fell prey to the roaring lion who seeks only to kill and destroy. It could be any of us, and most of us don’t have the responsibility and weight of calling that he did. Higher levels bigger devils. Best we don’t judge his hidden life and leave that up to God. It is always sad to see a great man or woman of God fall and I was deeply effected for several weeks once I heard of Ravi’s hidden sin and struggle. I have still been very blessed by his sermons and they have deeply impacted my life as I’m sure they have many others.

You keep making ravi sound like some sort of victim with the way you've phrased your words. I think it's very easy to judge someone like him, he's a rapist and deserves to burn in hell for all eternity. And it should be made aware to you that Ravi didn't believe anything he preached, if he did believe in it, he wouldn't have done those awful things. You, my friend, are falling for a con-man's work.

The pharaoh which oppressed the children of Israel? does Jesus supposedly have unbounded love for these individuals who committed awful atrocities? Ravi was a rapist hun, and people who commit sexual immorality are amongst the sinners, and seeing that he did it way more than once, he clearly enjoyed it and didn't believe it to be wrong.

Ravi's messages never lost their truth, always timely, always relevant.

All I can say is I pray to God that he didn’t die in sin. I truly hope he repented because he really inspired me. At the end of the day, I couldn’t be angry with him because I have sinned just as he has and in the same manner. I’m disgusted with myself but God is merciful. It’s through the grace of Jesus Christ that God is merciful to us sinners. RIP Mr. Zacharia

Simple answer: guilt. We project our deep seated subconscious guilt as a false means of regaining innocence. Ravi’s version was to preach salvation from guilt while retaining belief in it. Unfortunately, this is the Christian belief system, and Ravi is a witness to its fundamental flaw: make sin and guilt real, then try to be saved from it. It doesn’t work. Once guilt has been made real, there is no escape but through magical,solutions such as blood sacrifice. The ego has interpreted the Crucifixion as a witness to itself. Ever hear the expression, "The devil will quote Scripture?" Well, it does so to maintain its existence in the mind through your belief in guilt. Without your belief, you would withdraw your allegiance from its dictates and false solutions.

Ravi continues to be a blessing. Still his preaching and books blesses me and transforms me more and more. I regularly listen to his messages and books. A man who amassed so much of knowledge about the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ and spread it to as many as possible around the world and is still doing. Its a great great loss that God took him away but I think God foresaw what terrible monsters were waiting for him to happily bite on him and tear him apart ruthlessly and torment him to death. God sadly disapointed these ravenous wolves right at the time when their hearts rejoiced that he was caught over his mistakes. They like prowling lions were waiting to shred him apart to pieces and enjoy seeing it happen but God very badly disappointed them all.

Yet after claiming Christ as the saviour we continue to sin, one common sin we all commit is breaking the Sabbath by keeping sunday instead, by worshipping the sun on Sunday. That's pagan worship not biblical at all.

@@shalomomondi5346 the Pharisees accused Christ of HOW he observed the Sabbath. They were complaining about HOW he observed the sabbath and the way he observed the sabbath. Question: did christ observe the sabbath? Answer: yes he did, he did observe it by doing good work for others. That's good ministry work. Doing good to others on the sabbath is one way to observe the sabbath. Even After christ left, did the Apostle keep the Sabbath? Yes. Because the Sabbath is a command from God. Nobody can ever change that. Ignore or break that commandment, you're a sinner. Ignore that 4th commandment, you break all the other nine. They also gathered on Sunday which is a good thing, it strengthens their relationship with Christ. But if they fail to do that, will that be a sin? No, because that is not a command from god. You can praise god any day, and do good work any day but even if you fail to do that you cant be a sinner. Because that is not part of the law. It's just whether you want to or not. If you don't you didn't break any law so that's not a sin. If you do then it's a good thing. The 10 commandments are God's law, they are one. Break one you break all. You cannot separate one out of the 10 laws. You know that- Killing is still a sin till today, worshipping idols is still a sin till today. In short, to go against the 10 commandments is still a sin today. Because the law is one. You cant pick what to follow and what not to follow. Now, why do you ignore the 4th but agree with the rest of the law?

We died with Christ and are thus free from the law, while yet you still are a slave to the law. That is why the meaning of Jesus being LORD over the sabbath was much deeper than what u May see if it.

@@deanenable same “wise dude” told the woman “sin no more.” Let’s make sure we actually to the whole story. The issue wasn’t about judging Christ was showing them the hypocrisy of their judgement. We judge others all the time and it’s right. We judge criminals in a court of law. We judge pastors who steal from the offering plate. We judge people for behavior that hurts others. So it’s about casting stones. It’s about the motive of our judgement. There is no joy in judging Ravi for his sinful behavior. This is a warning to us all. Let’s remember that.

This message has a lot for us all. The law is sinful but grace is redemptive. JESUS alone can do what has done.

All of these words, if they came out of ANYONE else’s mouth, would be just as cleaving, esoteric and enlightening in the spirit of man. So…we can judge all we want but God used this man to teach countless pieces of wisdom to mankind.

"Judge not" and so I bowed in reverence to God who alone can judge rightly. I cannot pass judgment on Ravi, because I am not sinless. So I let Him who judges without partiality be the One to do it. For how can I throw the first stone when I myself is not righteous without the righteousness of Jesus imputed on me? I learned a lot from Ravi's sermons and will continue to listen again and again to his messages. If ever, I heed the admonition, "Do what they say, not what they do" and that is enough for me.

@@davidfick7843 I have heard first hand the testimony of the victims.... Ravi Zachariah's own daughter has asked people for forgiveness, for not believing that this was possible herself at first. Obviously his own daughter has come to the conclusion that yes this is definitely true by her own investigation and research. If you have done some research of your own and have come to an opposite conclusion then please do share so we can be properly educated in the truth.

Fact is Ravi sought, practiced and celebrated his sexual immortality...any sin can be forgiven, even if you struggle, even if you fall short ...Jesus is patient, loving and kind ....however reports from Ravi's private life were extremely disturbing. Yeah, what happened to innocent until proven guilty? I know thats a legal concept, but still a concept that is intrinsically connected to the concept of justice. I guess only our Father knows the whole truth.. Having said that, if he is guilty of what he has been accused of, our creator has provided us with the opportunity to gain forgiveness, through Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross. Aren’t we then left with the necessity of also offering that precious gift of forgiveness that is given so freely?

@@elishaoshea3181 are you saying the world is persecuting Ravi and his work? The first question you asked how do you know difference between falsehood and truth - it's simple - by the Word of God. It is the sword of the spirit. I genuinely don't understand the point you are trying to get across. Also please never compare the apostles to folks like Ravi - Christians should not be that simple and gullible - got to test everything - not by how you feel but by measuring against the word of God and discern people not by their word but through their actions and their life(style).

Ravi was human like us all and fell into the trap(s) of satan. I can only imagine how busy his mind must have been as he was dying, wishing he could reveal his sin and ask for forgiveness but the shame, his pride and guilt overrode him and he died hoping his secrets wouldn’t be revealed. Yet, now we know, he was like the rest of us needing God, His love and forgiveness. He helped many in his lifetime.

Ravi was able to articulate the Christian message, and that was God's gift to us believers. Great Evangelists don't equate to great believers, that's why Jesus said "I thank you father for revealing yourself to babes, and not the most wise or intelligent".

starting @ time 17:20 he says, "pleasure will always come at a cost. For the good pleasure, you pay for it before you enjoy it; for the wrong pleasure, you pay for after you enjoy it." With the sex scandal involving Ravi, God reminds us that our Lord Jesus Christ was the only one who was able to "walk the talk." Therefore, we must not look up to any human being but to Christ. "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2). We are not condoning Ravi's misconduct but we ought to let the Lord deal with him (which He had probably already done). "He who has no sin, cast the first stone." (John 8:7). We learn from this, and move on with God's grace through HIS Son Jesus Christ and the power of HIS Holy Spirit. Amen!

At the times the people had a misconception that if they always sinned they'd be forgiven and wanted to keep sinning. So it wqs iterated over and over these people who are doing this are sinning grace away. They won't inherit the kingdom.

Say what you will about Ravi, he was truly God's servant with human emotions and feelings. God called him to travel the globe sharing the gospel and he was obedient to that. God did not tell him to leave his human nature at home. He was away from home and his wife some 207 days a year. How many of you men would have held on to your desire with no outlet or release. All have sinned and come short of God's glory, Ravi was no different! i am glad that God forgives our wrongs and meets our needs still.

The pass to heaven is not known by what measure God has in place. The very act in our way of life that will grant us access to heaven is only known by God. Like all believers ('Men') especially men of God are weakened by the spirit of lust , i.e sexual immorality. His sermons helped me stay alive and I am grateful that God used him 🙏

This is very interesting and concerning. Are we not all Christians? And humans. All man falls to 1 of 3 power, lust, money or a combination. Who are we to cast the first stone? Stating he should have been practical with his preaching? Who are you without sin? Who are any of us? What of the 2x4 in your eye instead of the sliver in his. We are to forgive. And help those who need healing to heal. This is a sad thing to hear that it happened. But that doesn't mean ravi was a fool, or didn't know anything. He was quite intelligent in theology. But made mistakes. Moses disobeyed God Sampson was a womanizer. The apostles where sinners too. Saul of Tarsus anyone? Come on who are we kidding. Sadly, his great messages are getting drowned out because of his conduct. We have to be better than this. Through Christ, we can rise above the lusts of the flesh (in any form)

The gospel is the GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM! Repent and believe the gospel! Follow Jesus’ teachings! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah will resurrect his people! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. RSV Only-monos God-theos Monos theos Monotheism The Father Jesus is the one sent by the true God (the Father)! Jesus never claimed to be God, Jesus said he has a God! Jesus has a God! Jesus died! God can’t die! God raised Jesus from the dead!

No matter how big of a sin we have done. His Blood hasnpaid the price. He will turn no one away that turns to Him. We confess our sins to Him He will forgive us. We will not be judged for our sins because His blood covers. What we will be judged though is all the times He wants to use us and we dont do it. There will be rewards not everyone will live the same. He knows our motives too. We serve Him because we love Him. His blood makes a way to be in right standing with Him. All he wants is to be in relationship with us. So no matter how bad you messed up He will always with so much love gladly forgive you because His Word says that and Gid cant lie.

What a powerfilled holy spirit anointed sermon. God is still doing what He started from Calvary n continues His salvational work even till today through His ministers n one of them is Ravi Sir. Though he left for his abode above his messages of the cross beckons the lost to be found in Jesus. Sir we know you are safe in your Master's Hands.

Didn't have that....So when any Christian keeps on Committing abominable Sins in secret & Refuse to seek help + humble one's self before the Lord & Confess such actions, then said person is bound for self-destruction. The Devil love when we sin PRIVATELY (those women he misled, need deliverance & restoration, Sexual Sin is very Horrible) I Hope he Repented.

Remember, God used Balaam to bless the Israelites.

The alternative to forgiveness is 'think before you act'.

May I ask if this is true? Because as a non believer or skeptic for more than half my life I developed a sudden desire and urge to seek God and have been on that conquest every since. Was that his way of making a first move by planting that desire in me at a specific time?

@@ronaldjoe7896 I consider myself Christian. I try everyday to understand and learn more about our Creator. I believe he speaks to me through the Holy Spirit even if I do not recognize it. I cannot explain the overwhelmingly shift in my desire to know the creator especially the last few months. I have opened my Heart to the Lord. In the name of Jesus I pray he continues to guide me to my duty and faithfulness to build his kingdom.

@@mitchellc4 Read john 4:25,26 8:58 luke 9:20 mat 16:15-17 who canforgive sin Jesus did.bottom line john4:24 God is Spirit so God is not the body of human Jesus but the Spirit within the body. john10:30 I and the Fathet are one. john 14:16 Jesus will ask Father a Helper 26..the Helper is Holy Spirit. 20:22...receive the Holy Spirit. first Jesus will ask the Father but now Jesus Himself gave the Holy Spirit. only God can forgive sin n Jedus did that. jews crucified Jesus for the miracles done but for saying that He is the same as the Father

I am not condoning any sin at all! My sin may not be Ravi's,( and I'm never condoning the accusations. I don't know the man.) But t this I do know, "All sin stinks to God and He hates it!". Not because it personally affects Him, but because it personally affects you and I, His Beloveds!! He takes it Personally!! JESUS, The price paid for our redemption, was absolutely "Immeasurable"! No sin smells better than the other! No sin is less harmful than the other! And the enemy will take us out on a "tech" if he can find one! That's why The Precious Price of the Life Blood of Christ had to be poured out for us. Because there is no such thing as a little sin or unrighteousness!! ONLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS WOULD REDEEM US! When I recall king David, I don't remember his sin. I remember God's mercy, Anointing, Faithfulness, Might, Deliverance and all His Goodness to and through king David. I remember that we have "The Greater One" living on the inside of us and we can repent and move forward from the (This Place) of our today! Our temptations are not our identity! Our failures are not out Identity. Our excuses are not our ( "get out of jail free") cards.... NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS, SAVES!! I'm sure that this Man of God that has taught ( and still reaches people all over the world) so much about having an (Abiding Relationship) with God, repented of whatever might have stood between he and Daddy God. Yes, Ravi, Jesus took it ALL and God forgives. You have been forgiven Ravi, not by men maybe but by the Almighty God, Abba Father.

One thing i know is this, we do not have to sin. Its a wrestling, a believing. A way of escape that God has provided. A not yielding but prefer to suffer in the flesh till victiry comes. We need to preach more about not sinning. Forgiveness is great, Jesus provided it with His life. John says "if" we sin, its not "when" we sin. One does not have to sin. Its a great place to be. I am afraid that too many people live careless lives and do not turn to the Savior in times of temptation. Sin is serious and Jesus provides the way. It is not ill be forgiven first but i will not sin and stand firm. Rebuke the devil and he will flee.

John 8: 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Rafi, kept on doing the same sin over and over, deliberately and intentionally, while preaching to other. He has done damage to the Christian faith. While we are point our fingers at the LGBTQ+ and condemning them for living their Truth. We " believers in Christ" are living a lie. Jesus told the woman go and sin no more, don't go and intentionally sinning. Yes we are in the flesh but we shouldn't use God's grace as an excuse for us to sin. Romans 6:1-4 6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

I suppose Ravi knew as much as anyone did about temptations.

as someone who teaches sometimes, most of the messages that i find myself teaching, i am also teaching to myself. The sermons that one preaches to themselves always turn out to be the most impactful.

@Tom Servo ...Look I am not for a minute going to condone what Ravi did, it is horrible- it is sinful. However, I am also not going to jump up and down and praise God that this man might have lost his salvation. I pray in his final moments he repented. However, to say "amen"??? I cannot find anywhere in Jesus's ministry that he said amen when someone turned, rejected him, and walked in the other direction. Let us be careful how WE tread!

All of you critics, yes we can see human error & sin, that is easy. Hold a mirror in your face as well.

His preaching is full of meat, and passion, probably because he is aware of his vulnerability and desperate need for constant rebuke and exhortation from the WORD of God. A Minister may need a reputable stature before God and man to qualify to take the office of the Bishop, but he does not need to be perfect.

Jeremiah said in chapter 17… the heart is deceitful above all things. It is desperately wicked…God judges the heart, He test the mind….Only God can be his judge. Let us ourselves strive to live a Holy Life in this wicked world. And it is only with the help of the Holy Spirit and the Grace of God that we can!
