I see a lot of people condemning this man for mistakes he committed or might have committed. It doesn't mean his teachings are invalid. His personal relationship with God is between him and his creator and only God has the final say. His teachings are a blessing

Wow. Way to spit in the faces of the victims. We need to stop looking at this man altogether and look AT THE VICTIMS and see what he did. How he destroyed their lives. His words may be true but they are not true to him. He gave the crowd what was expected of him. He held up his facade til the end. He was a fraud. @@cece8095 I agree with u 100% yet Judas did betray Jesus but when the disciples came back after Jesus has sent them out he was among those who did the miracles and those miracles were a blessing to those he healed (luke 10:17) it doesn't make his efforts invalid. No man is without sin. They might testify agaist him but if we were to put all of their sins out u will be amazed n thats just how life is, we all make mistakes. David killed, look at the end of Solomon does that stop u from reading proverbs? I could go on and on. I do feel sorry for the victims but i look at the gift in him and not the man. I heard about this man before. I didn't knew he was a gifted theologian. And now I heard some woman came forth after his death with some abuse claims. To be honest, now, with modern feminism, there were a lot of false claims of sexual abuse. It may be also true. True or not, doesn't take from his teachings. And people who turn away from God because of him, I understand them, but they didn't really believed in God. They believed in the charisma of a man.

The Church consists of body of believers in Christ that are closely bonded together to worship, to minister, to share experience, to teach each other, to love each other, etc. and has leaders, elders, pastors, teachers ordained by God to grow and strengthen His Church. An individual cannot grow spiritually on his own, let alone become a church. You need guidance and that's what the elders, pastors, teachers are there for, not for them to be elevated, but for them to lead the Church in understanding and studying the scripture. Pastors, elders, teachers have special gifts from God to enable them to teach scripture in a expository way to help others better understand. As believers in Christ, we need to be more discerning as to who we listen to. Jesus warned, 15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? (Matthew 7:15-16, ESV)

And he exploited it to the hilt. Not an inch transformed in heart because of the Lord. But in every way, by His Name, enriching himself: his uncompromising 'brahminical' roots of feigned superiority, his unbridled narcissism, his cross-border escapades of self-promotion his audience would fail to verify, his vehemently ambitious pursuit of the English language and when all the important names had been dropped and the upward graph of statistics of 'saved-souls' produced, he ensured his namesake ministry and his bank balance would not stop upscaling either. He remained a thorough Hindu at heart and took the Lord's holy Name ONLY in vain. As is typical to them, its all about creating an aura of greatness about themselves, particularly in enforced stillness of silence. Crafty word-play and well-read show of intellectualism apart, wringing people's emotions through a turbo of unrelated tragedies to leave behind a quaint feeling of sustained emotional upheavals - the modus operandi is 'Hindu magic' at its best. Jeremiah 17:5 Cursed is the man that put their trust in another man. People should search the summary about the investigation done about Ravi, sad and pure evil. My hope and eyes are only on my Savior.

Even though I’m angry at Ravi and I feel ruined in motivation for truth, his sermons still contain remind me to stand for Christ no matter what.

As a woman, I say to you, if someone who millions are putting their TRUST in a spiritual leader gets CAUGHT abusing women sexually then YES! and ABSOLUTELY it is not okay and it is also quite reasonable to question his heart. ABUSE IS ABUSE - PERIOD! I have encountered other MALE spiritual leaders (ALL EAST INDIAN !!!) who have SEX with their female followers ~ AND IT IS NOT OKAY!!!!!!! PERIOD!!!!!! WAKE UP AND STOP BEING BLIND TO ABUSE! WOMEN GET RAPED EVERY DAY AND THE MEN WHO RAPE THEM GET SLAPPED ON THE HAND AND THEN LET GO - BACK INTO SOCIETY - TO RAPE AGAIN. GOD will be his judge. So no matter how "great" his sermons were, this certainly does not excuse SEXUAL ABUSE - not now - not ever! He, no doubt, found this out when he met God on the Throne!

SuperDukka let's look at the inconsistencies and see if they are important. Does any specific detail undermine the whole of the doctrine? Example 1: 3 day discrepancy of an arrival of a very minor character Example 2 and 3 : similar to the above in that a number was off on characters in the old testament. Recording error? Uncertain. The overarching story and message remains the same. Example 4 : pretty simple one here. There are 2 items to note. The audience of the gospel. John is written for the Hebrew, the Jew used the lunar calendar so saying light or dark only indicates arrival at the sepulchre. Matthew is written for the Gentile who used a solar calendar. It is dark as the sun first rises. Unlike the first 3 examples, there is no real discrepancy here. Example 5 : like the example above and how time was recorded. The old jewish accounting of time has Him resurrecting on the third day. He died on Good Friday and was raised on Easter Sunday. He died the first day, all of Saturday transpired and Sunday counts for 3 days despite it likely only 48 hours passed. This is like counting the sections of fence or do you count fence posts? It's all perspective and there are valid reasons for each. Example 6 : the building of the temple. Pretty important when the temple is to be rebuilt. I will have to research The Temple Institute website to see which one they are using and why.

Dispite that fact, it doesn't diminish the personhood of Jesus/Yeshua. My name is Charles in English and Carlos in Spanish. It doesn't alter the value of who I am. Same value. Different cultural perspective.

Some people are upset that I chose to revive listening to Ravi in light of his fall, and at first I had my own misgivings because it was always in the back of my mind. But, when I found myself needing answers and biblical teaching, many of the questions I had were answered by his work and teachings. My struggle was "how do I make peace with that?" The answer, after some time, was simple one. First, I don't know whether he repented or not, (none of us do), but that doesn't matter. Our God is a God of justice and I'm sure he has faced the penalty for his sins. Second, by realizing that we are all not without sin and I listen to those who have sin without the same misgivings. I listen to elders, to other pastors who say they sin as we all do, I listen to mentors, and I even marvel at God's grace to those in the bible who were flawed and GREATLY sinned and how God was able to use them. I don't discount what God did through them, and I'd actually be hypocritical to discount God's work through anyone, because I too sin from time to time. While I found the behavior of his personal life wholly reprehensible and hope that he did repent, I don't believe that the good work that he did should be wasted. And third (this is the most important one I think, his fall IS another lesson he had to teach about living by faith and not just speaking by faith. I think in many ways his fall was the greatest lesson he had to teach. And I think that we can't ignore, nor should we that lesson.

Do not worry we all are humans and the sad part of human is we all tend to sin by reverting to our primal carnal instincts, so is he. And it is natural that when people come to power they misuse it. I mean look at the history people have been doing this for ages. Ravi is human not God so we should let go and move on. No doubt we learned a lot from his ministry.

I am a catholic, I found Ravi a few years ago and I thank God that I did. They way he speaks about Jesus is amazing. When Ravi passed away, I cried a little for a man I had never met. God bless you Ravi, I pray that my faith and love of Jesus grows as strong as yours was sir. However, while I am an atheist, I wouldn't be able to definitively disprove the existence of some sort of deity any more than you would be able to definitively prove that one does exist. I simply have not encountered a single argument or bit of data which I find compelling and which leads me to consider the idea of deities as even a reasonable proposition, let alone specifically the Abrahamic deity.

Very convenient for all who do not wish to repent, but want to trample the Son of God under foot and treat as unholy thing the Blood of the Covenant that sanctified them and insult the Spirit of Grace (Heb 10:29, Heb 6:4-6). The Word of God says it all what will become of them. The reason God has revealed Judgment will begin with the so-called 'house of God' (eg. 1 Pet 4:17-18).

The news of Ravi Zacharias poor health brought me to the first sermon of his I have ever listened to. With what I just heard, he knows who he belongs to, and where he is going. Not even sickness will come in between him and God.

I miss hearing this man's sermons/talks/Q&As. I'm glad they show up sometimes again. He screwed up majorly and faceplanted there at the finishline. Pelvic tumor. Likely GU and GI dysfunction, there at the end, in addition to severe pain- I think God took him off the board. Cut him off from life. Ravi's story, like all stories is, as Ravi says here, His story. I anticipate and hope and to see him someday.

Ravi Zacharias sexually abused multiple women and tried to cover it up over the course of his life.

I'm not a Christian, nor am I religious. Having said that I wanted to come here to offer my deepest condolences to Ravi's friends and family. I watch theology related videos constantly and read many books on the same genre and I know Ravi well from this content. Rest in peace, Ravi.

I was at work when Frank Turik posted "well done good and faithful sevant" and had ravis birth and death date, i thought it was a joke. I cried for this man ive never met in my life. My heart was broken but not without hope, but broken.

I know. When I became a Christian he was one of the first Christian apologists I listened to, along with a few other non apologist preachers who are now part of the false prosperity church Kenneth C, Joyce M, J Osteen (I'd like to see them explaining prosperity 💰🛬💍💎💶💶to Christians in prisons, in poverty and dying for their faith in China, N Korea and Africa for instance - We ARE ALREADY BLESSED by the CROSS ✝️ 🩸I digress suffice to say I'm shocked and angry as only realised recently these were false too so shell shocked almost when heard about Ravi. I was an unsaved RC when I became a Christian about 17 years ago. I shared a lot of the rzim website links along with other genuine ones 🙌in seed planting drop cards (my name for reaching the lost) in public as witnessing tools along with other St John's gospel etc. I fear some that are not strong in their faith will turn from God because of him but praying they will look more to God now than ever. 🙏🌏🙏

But there’s nothing wrong with loving someone who has been an under shepherd to us in our walk with God. There’s a lot of talk on this board about Ravi living a double life. Who here Ken say they are not consistently living a double life in at least one area of their lives? Most of us are not public people. We don’t have a global presence. Nobody knows our names. But each of us has one area maybe more, where we consistently mess up. Imagine that you are a public figure. Then look at every area of your life. Would you feel comfortable with a cameraman and reporter living your life with you and walking with you through your days and nights? I don’t mean you personally, but I mean everyone here. I know for darn sure I would not like public scrutiny on my life. Intellectually, I know God is with me all the time and he knows my very thoughts, fantasies, emotions and actions. But since I don’t see and hear people around me watching me in my naked truth, I don’t think about it too much. But when I do, it makes me feel uncomfortable. I could safely say that all of us have at least one area of our lives we would not want on public scrutiny. Most of us are thankful that we aren’t public figures. I know I am.

He positively impacted millions through his sermons but negatively impacted the women he abused. As much as Ravi Zacharias was loved let's not forget the victims who were traumatized by his actions. They need prayers and healing and by defending wrongdoing we are making the Christian faith look bad.There are many abusers in the world who go unnoticed. Ravi was just exposed as a warning to us to put boundaries with our spiritual leaders.

So sad... I've seen him pop a few times this week and today is the first day I've clicked it and watched him speak. I spend a lot of time listening to sermons and really like him and the work for God he is doing. Then find out he passed away two days ago... sadly when he was alive I didnt hear him. Because I pushed it off. And it really puts in perspective how important life is, how important it is to listen, how important it is to act when the opportunities arise, and how short life is. I missed him by days. Thankfully in his life he was able to glorify God and is in the kingdom of heaven. A wonderful place to be.

Thank you Lord for allowing Mr. Zacharias to serve you for such a time like this and I am forever grateful for your blessing to know your heart through the divine wisdom you gave him!!!!

He remained a thorough Hindu at heart and took the Lord's holy Name ONLY in vain. As is typical to them, its all about creating an aura of greatness about themselves, particularly in enforced stillness of silence. Crafty word-play and well-read show of intellectualism apart, wringing people's emotions through a turbo of unrelated tragedies to leave behind a quaint feeling of sustained emotional upheavals - the modus operandi is 'Hindu magic' at its best. His teachings lost no validly. I was lucky enough to see Ravi in person a few years before he went home, how awesome it is now for him to be singing and dancing in the Father's house! Praise Jesus! @Elastica Banda We can shame him for what he's done in the dark, but every one of us is sinful, and each has their own dark secrets. I'm not here to judge him. That's up to God. But Ravi, as apologist, made great arguments and debates that influenced my faith. Thankful.

@@BRMinistries You need to look down into his soul ... I can see all the hate preachers (MacArthur et al ) can not preach the love and salvation of Christ from the heart. I am not saying this to boast as I have been told that my preaching is scriptural, factual and informative and easy to listen to / entertaining but not always 'spiritual food for the journey'. AND not creating a yearning for Christ which is not the same as merely informing and getting the congregation keen to go home and look up scripture

Pray for them, anytime you are in this situation. Pray like this: I pray for everyone to be called to believe in God and see the eternal light!!! I pray for everyone to FORGIVE everything and everyone who has hurt them. Cut down any strings of fear that bind them to something that haunts them. I pray for everyone to find FORGIVENESS that opens up the grace of God and the blessings of eternity. I pray for everyone to find eternal light and be embraced in God's merciful arms after having FORGIVEN everyone and everything, purifying themselves for the unity with the most high.

The Christian preacher knows how to create fear and sadness so that they can present "God" and "Jesus" to you as hope to get you out of this. But I think it was same God who created those people and place them in such a worse situation.. I stand to be corrected

I've never listened to Pastor Rav's preaching before today, but I like how he presents the gospel so much. Truly a man full of God given wisdom & discernment. I'll definitely listen to more of his sermons. his perspective is so interesting. I really enjoy his preaching. I'm sure he is another person who when he went home to the Lord recently, Jesus met him and said "well done, good & faithful servant". RIP Pastor Ravi.
