I’m struggling with understanding the reason why God would hurt at my refusal to love Him. Ravi stated God hurts at our refusal to love him because we’ve lost something by not loving him. If I’m honest that sounds emotionally detached. I am a human being and the thought of losing someone I love hurts me, because of the loss of relationship with that person. It appears God is not hurt by the loss of relationship with us , but hurt by what we missed out on by refusing to love Him? That makes me think that God is not really emotionally attached to us in love, as what we lose is more devastating than actually losing us. Maybe I’m looking at this wrong. 🤔🤔🤔

@@LovehardFightharder_ God's love is objective ( goal directed) He is actually the final causality and whatever has been given to us is the dignity of causality to actually affect time and eternity. At the end of it all it is you to choose how you use the "dignity" as ultimate love cannot be forced on anyone!

@@Soldier_fulani I’m not sure that explanation provides any enlightenment as to why God would be hurt by what I’m losing and not hurt from losing the connection or relationship that develops through my choice to love him. Or maybe I just don’t understand your explanation as it relates to this.
