They made me get a pawn shop guitar and learn some of their songs. And the only songs I learned how to play were Chris Cornell related. I plucked away at a few Black Sabbath riffs, some little blues licks, but I didn't care to learn that, only his music. Between him and Kim, it was all great music. RIP, Sir. I just wish the fans who are also musicians, and who loved the whole Seattle music scene, people who loved having music that got ya in the gut, made u feel something and never forget it, would just start making they're own music.. I know, I know, it wouldn't be the same but I think the style of music could possibly live on in a new way. As is... Grunge is dead sadly and metal isn't doing well... I don't even know what to call what I hear playing on the radio, or in new videos on TV ( in the rare occasion u can find a music video on tv anymore)

Yeah they sure did. I really wish there was someone, ANYONE who was putting out new nusic that was this good. I worry sometimes that great hard rock music is becoming a thing from our past. Like Mozart & Beethoven. The only band that has put out an album this year that is really good is AiC Renier fog.

I will just add again that Chris Cornell sings this song (and any song) like a badass, and I wish he was still with us here on earth. But, I also hope that he is in a much better place, along with my sister and Dad, but, only my sister would likely love his music. He is one of the greats.

I saw Audioslave in 2003 at the Warfield in SF. I think it was like day 2 of Bush invading Iraq. Audioslave just killed it. For an encore they came back on stage and launched into a cover of Rush’s “Working Man.” I was right beneath the stage but could feel an immense surge from the crowd behind me. The place went absolutely wild. I’ll never forget.
