He caters to low iq people who don't understand music. Jack White wrote and plays the song without a bass in Detroit and these fools are violating the premise of the author.

If I'm not mistaken, The White Stripes were a relatively new band back then. To have someone like Chris Cornell sing their song, wow!

I don't think I knew of the existence of this version before, and I'm a huge Cornell fan. He's the gift that keeps on giving, and even from beyond he doesn't stop amazing me.

There was absolutely no song he couldn't sing.... Amazing vocal range! Amazing singer! You'll always be missed Chris Cornell. RIP

He really had one of the greatest voices in music history. His range is nothing but extraordinary. I was always a bigger Audioslave fan. So thankful i got to see them in '04. So long ago but so memorable. Such an inspiration. So sad.

You wouldn't know a great performance if it hit you in your fuck face! The Cover is brilliant and better than Jack White could ever think of. Cornell can sing rings around anyone you got and the audio is just fine until the sound guy turned it up to much during the last verse but still amazing! Is it Soundgarden? Fuck No but this band was way ahead of its time and every album was amazing!! Long Live Chris Cornell!!!!!!!

No, I do and I should. But it's okay -- it's part of my growth as a human being, to realize my failings. How can you listen to that music and not realize there has to be hurt beneath that angst? I owe a lot to music and to people like Chris and many others who hurt -- Jim Morrison, Joan Baez, Neil Young, Ben Orr, Nancy Griffith -- many, many more. Tom Morello. Bob Dylan. Tom Petty. They and music got me through the worst period of my life, when I had so much stress I felt like my skin was on fire. Music relieves your pain because it is pure emotion. It draws the pain and stress right out. But I guess it doesn't work that way for musicians. So yeah, I am ashamed that I didn't realize earlier Chris was in pain. I didn't even bother to look up his biography and find out where he was from. I did love his music and his spirit and I'm so sorry we couldn't all lift him up and keep him safe.

I saw this tour, and was amazed when they did this. it was a current, on the radio, song. I have seen hundreds of great live national acts. I dare say I have almost seen them all! I have never once seen a band cover a song that is so contemporary. I respect that they did this. it just says to me 'hey you guys, this song is amazing.' the downside of this tour is his voice was just terrible. I had thought he couldn't sing anymore after screaming for a decade in Soundgarden. I now know he can sing, perhaps better than ever. Don't know if i caught a bad night, or year, but all is forgiven. Chris Cornell is amazing!
