He completely lost control over devil gene at that moment, kazuya broke him mentally.. Note how devil Jin was hornless and then his horns appeared and his eyes became red.. it was devil himself not Jin anymore

This is how i used to see Tekken 4 Kazuya storyline as a kid. It's crazy how cool it looks now.

For those who don't know that form is the same form that was prophecize on the painting that shows 3 demonic entities . The 2 figures that aside the big figure are Kazuya and Jin in their New devil forms. The middle big figure Azazel the progenitor of the Devil gene and also Tekken 6's final boss. Azazel in both Tekken 6 beginning/ending and Tekken 7 Zafina's lore stated he will one day comeback physically when the 2 evil stars collides meaning Kazuya vs Jin. Harada-san did stated that Kazuya vs Jin's fimal battle will be decided Jun's influence to them both. For those who don't know while man say Kazuya doesn't love Jun even though he did married her secretly. Kazuya's rage art when he use against her only shows that he doesn’t kick her body when he done with his rage art compare to the other fighters. This does shows strong hints of what he thinks about Jun especially when he encounters her in their intro fight sequence. Kazuya never historically says he despise Jun or shuns her only called her mysterious, and he thinks he doesn't need her to save him.

I believe both of them are going to die, joining Heihachi in the afterlife. We all love the Kazama and Mishima feud. But we have so many new characters, it's time for Tekken to evolve. I believe Azazel is going to come back, and that Kazuya won't die as a villain. But as a hero, alongside Jun and Jin. Joining Jinpachi and Heihachi.

@@Nothing-of2pm Harada-san did confirmed this is not the last tekken game, this is the last of the Mishima fued. But he did hinted that the final battle overall will be result and influence by Jun influence on the 2. He did stated he already wrote the entire story with some additional parts to extend the story longer at certain games to keep that record of longest consistent story franchise. In his own words he stated the story will begin with the Mishimas, centered on the Mishimas, and end with the Mishimas(until he dies) He created the actual lore of Tekken in 1996 sometime after Tekken 2.

Finally, the Kazuya I been wanting to see since Tekken 2 and got denied in Tekken 4. Nothing but pure domination. Actually, this is far stronger than I expected, making that laser so massive while destroying many satellites this time.

This has so many tekken 6 bloodline rebellion trailer vibes they even used the same theme for when jin rides the motorcycle

It makes you wonder what’s going through Lee and Paul’s minds when hearing, and seeing, what Kazuya is capable of as they’re the ones who knew him for the longest time out of everyone. Hopefully they and Lars, along with others that have strong ties to Kazuya, confront him in this campaign.

@@michaelrobosa146 I don’t think everyone will be able to interact with Kazuya though, and the select few that do I hope are the likes of Paul and the remainder of his family.

This is Jin's first L in over 20 years. He basically showed up to beat Kazuya's ass in every game except T7 and then beats the actual strong threat Heihachi. Then he sits T7 out where Kazuya stops being bitch finally gets hist first W after T2. Then now Kazuya is handing out L's to everyone.

I like how at the end, we see the history of the Mishima heritage. A family dating back centuries growing in power to present day where a Mishima (Kazuya) now rules the world.

Most probably Kazuya must have took and absorbed Akuma devil power back in Tekken 7 (after defeating him). This probably explains why he is now stronger than Jin when in devil form.

This feels like an actual movie, holy shit! I really hope Tekken gets a live action adaptation film in the future that is the same quality and animation as Super Mario Bros. or Sonic the Hedgehog. It would be awesome as hell! It will most likely be a hit on the box office if that happens

I'm pretty good at getting the right answer using all the knowledge I have about a subject which is generally a lot because I research a lot. I knew Angel from Tekken 2 is somehow connected to the source of the Kazama's powers. So I figured there might be an Angel Jin. I got the Devil part wrong but I am pleased with how it worked out. From there I worked out that they'd 100% go for an Angel Jin vs Devil Kazuya, as it's a literal representation of Good vs Evil. Which btw is what Angel and Devil originally were before retcon. Just a representation of the Good and Evil within Kazuya.

And that’s because while Jin’s ass was in recovery after defeating Azazel, Kazuya’s been fighting some really hard battles against Heihachi and Akuma. Even at the end, Jin only wins after a very long and difficult fight.

It’s important to note that 15:30 is accurately showing real Japanese samurai clans that had large power during the Sengoku Jidai. The Mishima clan also somehow managed to avoid being destroyed by the Oda which is odd.

@@Yunafan2963 Just what I stated. There's no balance to the sfx (sound effects) Regular moves that hit/connect sound exactly the same as say, the ones in heat mode and/or the RA. There's no variety that would make you appreciate, get you hyped when you hear a more, forceful sound from a heat mode or RA connecting. Others have noticed this discrepancy.

It just might be Julia. I don't have much to go on, but though the figure is wearing bulky clothing, it looks like her. The profile is somewhat, close to hers with a ponytail that's clearly seen under the safari hat. Her Tekken 6 (I believe) ending showed her scaling a cliff. However...I could be totally wrong and in an interesting twist, it could be Leo's long-lost Mother, Emma (who is alive and would tie into Leo and Steve's stories in which they could interact) Leo is a cave spelunker just like her father was. In conclusion, they made it where the details aren't clear, on purpose because this character will be an important reveal in the story is what I'm betting.

@@usmanhanif8245 Katarina and Eddy don't make sense to be that invested in the Azazel and devil gene lore all that time for what we've been shown from their prologues and epilogues. At the end, it looks like a dark room full of archives in the present, and dating back to feudal Japan and way, farther back. The one in the hat who closes the door has gotta be Julia (maybe, even Michelle!) or Emma, Leo's Mom. Either of them 3 would fit, unless...it's a new character (a new fighter?) to be revealed.

I had forgotten about the Father wearing that hat in Leo's Tekken 6 story prologue. Now, it totally makes sense that it has to be Leo's Dad, Niklas. I change my theory about it being Leo's Mother. It was confirmed that Kazuya had her and the other scientists killed a while back.

And this is only teh demo version what about the full version that would be soo f*#$ing epic

The winner has to make sure that Kazuya, Jin and Lars are dead

I feel like this is going to be like Blood Vengeance. Base Jin beats Base Kazuya(Just like Tekken 4) but Devil Kazuya beats Devil Jin bcoz Kazuya have more control. Devil Kazuya will have a 2nd or might have 3rd form due win over Heihachi and maybe Akuma. Either Jin wins with Jun assist or Jin will get a new form bcoz of Jun. Heihachi announced missing, not dead? Maybe he survive again? What do you guys think?

Heihachi is considered missing by public cause he met secretly with kazuya, none knows what happened to him except for a selected few(Lars, alisa, lee) who followed the fight only thanks to Lee's satellite.. Kazuya murdered him and he's not coming back

Again, Base Jin DIDN’T beat base Kazuya at all. He was tanking all those hits like nothing, seeing what Jin is capable of. He even taunted him to use his rage art and still stood unfazed, laughing at him. Jin had to transform into his Devil form to overcome base Kazuya. This is how this fight played out. You have to be blind to not see this.

Why did he kill people for no reason? In the 7 he decided to not waste the lives of soldiers fighting Akuma himself alone and in the movie he didn’t even dare to touch Alisa (he destroyed her AFTER knowing she was just a robot) while now? He just kills people No this is neither kazuya or devil Problem is…is he maybe trying to kill himself for peace? Kazuya never tried to use violence against innocents especially in this way, war was war and he just killed people trying to find that war.

Cause Namco wants you to sympathise with Jin who started world war III but now he's the good guy of Tekken 8, that's why lol To me jin is a war criminal, end of Lastly, Kazuya did shot a satellite during T7 and killed the incident to turn the public opinion against heihachi but at least there was a purpose behind it.

i mean it's war heiachi did it, if he wanted to kill people shooting a building then why wouldn't Kazuya destroy a mass murder machine? i hope that that laser attack just made some chaos and didn't kill civilians because that's not Kazuya surely purpose was there he was being watched and used his power for world domination and "to send a message" but that's not how kazuya acts, he becomes ruthless only if he is attacked and moslty because of his father, past traumas and because of the devil gene. even his mother wanted to kill him when he was just an innocent baby i don't think his philosophy is about hurting people the same way he was hurt. in the eyes of Kazuya Jin started the war just because he wanted to kill him, Devil (that at the time wasn't kazuya) wanted to take the devil power out of jin and honestly that would make him a favor and also that devil power was just a portion of his own, so technically evil or not everything he did was selfish in a positive way. but killing people out of blue? Very very very out of character

​​​@@pierremattheweligue2100 Incorrect. Harada or Murray said in an interview that Tekken 8 is only the end of the Mishima/Kazama saga. The Tekken story/stories will continue in future games.

​@@j.e.m5034 No, it's not true. Hei is only described as missing to the world because there was no live footage of his FINAL fight with Kazuya in Tekken 7. Harada has confirmed multiple times that Heihachi is dead (in the story) after that final scene in Tekken 7. He can possibly, be brought back as dlc (but why would they give a dead character new moves in a story game?)

The story has been trying to accomodate Kaz since TK 4 after they tried to replace him with Jin and the fans didn't want that. Just a lot of holes left to fill up.

This is the conundrum known as Bamco. They always have to rectify stuff left and right. Hence why the only canon is what is validated by the prologue of the next installment. The same way, they had Heihachi beat a full Devil Kazuya before Jin was born ; They then proceeded to rectify the Devil theory by saying that Jin and Kazuya have separate Devils ; as their devils aren't one split into two anymore. Then Akuma said he was merely waiting for Heihachi to become stronger, hence why he didn't show up till that time, only for Heihachi to struggle against Kazuya's Devil form, when a past version of him had beaten the devil form, yet he loses to the devil form now, but is supposed to be stronger now. That is the loophole or conundrum that Bamco constantly writes itself into. Other Fighting games like Dead Or Alive, Street Fighter or King Of Fighters don't have this issue, at all. Their story remains constant and their strengths aren't retconned as it remains a constant.

​@@StunningSilken That's not true. Heihachi was able to beat devil Kazuya in Tekken 2 because Kazuya had an internal conflict that weakened him. Couple that with Heihachi being stronger over the 2 year time skip, it makes sense he would beat devil Kazuya in Tekken 2. In Tekken 7, Kazuya has no internal conflict and is complete control over his devil form. As for Kazuya barely winning, I doubt it. Heihachi was the one struggling. Heihachi was just resilient as he kept getting back up no matter how many times he got knocked down by Kazuya.
