That final boss fight is the most relentless most insane one I've seen. I adore that final stage is them both as humans. So much more badass.

Not just that, but the gameplay variety and music complimented it. They even went as far as bringing back Alot of tracks from previous games. And each battle is engaging. And lenne heardts in ring announcements was on FIRE!! Harada and the team definitely know their shit.

It's so good writing. In his fight with Kazuya without devil powers, he first choses to fight with him in his Traditional Karate style including music that describes it. Then, he uses Mishima Style, and accepts it. And we can hear Jin's theme from freaking Tekken 3 which means he returned to his roots, also accepting himself as Mishima. Then, he uses Kazama style in honor of his Mother who taught him this style. In final fight he mixes these three styles together, combining them to defeat Kazuya! Which means he accepted himself, his past, his sins, himself. Tekken 8 is truly the peak game. Such small details! ❤

As Niklas Kliesen explained, the power of Devil Gene is activated and amplified by desire, which is is the main focal point of difference between Jin and Kazuya. While Jin's is always a benevolent one, Kazuya's was just at one point (or maybe not at all). Welp, even with that point that doesn't explain why Kazuya lost control of his devil briefly in Tekken 4. Jin's is much more pallatable as he occasionally loses it whenever a life-threatening circumstances arise, though that still doesn't answer the reason why he's losing to the Devil Gene when he was defeated by Hwoarang in Tekken 5, my only assumption is that of Jinpachi's presence. One should take a note that it the ghost possessing Jinpachi, not himself.

Tekken 9 almost certain story: Reina probably aiming for the ultimate power heihachi mention in Tekken 4, this ultimate power combines devil gene and ogre cells, she is not heihachi sweet daughter, she is power hungry and aiming to achieve heihachi dream, reina only needs ogre now to fulfill it (just as tekken 7 ending with obvious hype of jin vs kazuya, tekken 8 ending with obvious hype of hunting down ogre)

After being disappointed with SF6's story being just a bunch of set ups with no satisfying pay offs, its nice that Tekken 8 provides a decent story with a beginning, middle and end that involves the majority of the cast in a meaningful way

I love the fact that Jin was able to use different stances throughout the Kazuya fight!!

The main thing you'll notice that at the semi final fight where devil vs the angel happens You can clearly see that kazuya's name is written as the "True Devil Kazuya" where as jin's name is written as the "Angel Jin" which could possibly mean that there could be a true form of angel jin which they are keeping for now, which have the capability to finish all of the devil gene I mean this form could possibly have more power over the devil. As we know obviously the next game's main villain or semi villain is the mishima's daughter which have the devil gene and jin would use his true angel form to fight her and completely finish the devil gene as for where that true angel power comes? I have a guess that the character "Angel"( who is in 3 to 4 titles of tekken) is going to merge with jin willingly like kazuya merged with Azazel but Azazel did not wanted to merge so it was creating difficulty for kazuya during his true devil form but on jin's hand the angel might merge with jin willingly allowing him to access more power then ever. Next question arises "Where would the character Angel come from" I guess that the kazama's would have something to do with it as we have clearly seen that jin uses his kazama heritage to access his angel form. After this whole plot BOOM 💥 we have a world domination fight between True Angel 😇 and True Devil 😈 Another thing is that the mishima's daughter(sorry I forgot her name) have access to kazuya's power as well as the azazel power which as we know that Azazel does not want to merge so this will create difficulty for her in her true devil form, hence allowing "True Angel Jin" to have more chances of winning. Sorry if I mentioned something wrong and please also correct me for that problem 😊

Very interesting thoughts. To be honest, I think Jin has finally achieved his goal since Tekken 4, that is to get rid of Devil Gene, he overcome his past, technically, by beating Kazuya, he ended his blood feud with Mishimas, and can finally enjoy life in peace, which is shown in his ending with Xiaoyu. I think Tekken 8 is final redemption arc for Jin, and he can walk away fulfilled, I think, he will definitely be in Tekken 9, as a fan favourite, just like in Tekken 7, but I feel him not being involved much in the story is logical. Then again, as a Jin main since T5, I'd love to see him being key figure in the future

I loved this deeply! And the soundtrack in the end, so many memories... This is precious!

Judging by the "bad ending" story about how Kazuya wins, I hope that Tekken 9 will be able to explore the multiverse saga for the first time with some way, and that Devil Reina can be one of Tekken 9's main characters.
