She destroyed Jin here and she fought Kazuya alone after he got azazels power and easily solo'd the whole team of good guys (including Lee, Lars, alisa and claudio). She also blocks bullets with her hand like it was nothing and tanked huge lasers from Kazuya. Lorewise she's the third strongest character at the very least (and at the end of the story she's definitely the strongest since she got her devil powers and jin and Kaz lost theirs).

@@davidantunes9900Definitely a strong character, but let's be honest, all the things you listed aren't saying much considering they're things that other characters did too. Jin got beat by Hwoarang in Tekken 6. As in fully defeated, to the extent that Devil Jin came out and then beat the shit out of Hwoarang. And even Lars managed to fight and hold off a fully powered up Kazuya in Yakushima (he would lose but he did just as good of a job as Reina) and also tanked a laser blast and his own weird lightning powers. Steve literally "dodged" bullets by weaving. The point I'm making is, whoever is "strong" is literally at the mercy of Harada. If he wants you to be strong, then you will be, logic be damned. So yeah, I mean, in the larger context, her feats don't really make me go "holy shit she in EXCEPTIONALLY strong" other than the fact that she's a Mishima. Now, Heihachi - THAT's a dude with incredible feat. He literally BEAT Kazuya out of his devil form in T7 and took a hell of a beating before finally going down. Not to mention, there are many instances where he has beaten Kazuya and Jin. Man was truly built different. Possibly the strongest Mishima (idk where Jinpachi would come in).

It seems that Jin kinda does look like he's seen a ghost, recognizing Mishima style from Reina the fact that it's the same technique Heihachi uses after that flashback.

I just realized, she says upon defeating her “the threat of death is what unlocks the devil power”, and now seeing why she put herself out into that laser by Kazuya, it wasn’t analysis on Jin, but instead herself? What a foreshadow…

Jin casually getting 🔥S aunt arc was something I didn't expect from this game. The fact she calls him "Senpai" makes it even -better- worse

​@Archon3960 it's mostly mockery. If you watched Rurouni kenshi. How Shishio called Kenshi Senpai and yet wanted to kill him the whole time 😅. But usually its in ranks too. Jin is of a higher rank, in age and also graduating before Reina. Thus, the respect.

Reina: Yeah, i'll totally win against Jin Jin: Has literally defeated every single member of the Mishima family, all using the Mishima style, except Kazumi because he wasn't even born yet to do so. And he also won the most amount of tournaments of every character (iron fist tournament 3, 4, 5 and 8).

@@staufackar2135 except the tournament was over by the time he fought heihachi in 4, and again the tournament in eight never concluded. So you can say he won those tournaments metaphorically or morally, but in the technical sense he absolutely did not.

it literally just occurred to me that in order for Reina to have the Devil Gene, she inherited it from her mother, same as how Kazuya did from his. If there'll every be a T9 or future installments, they might even add her mother into the story. Looks like the Devil Gene is here to stay for the foreseeable future. 😭

It's cringe, honestly. Jin, who is older, much more experienced fighter that fought Kazuya and Heihachi, was almost easily defeated by a younger girl half his size, who's likely never fought any powerful fighter *_seriously._* Also, it was obvious she is going to be stupidly strong. Like, do you people ignore all the "girl power" stuff we've been having for the last 2 decades, combined with how she was being presented in her Trailer??

he was weakened mentally and figuratively, in tekken not having strong desire or much a will to live and fight causes your body and fighting spirit to weaken. so Jin was nerfed most of the game
