Imo this has been the best character reveal trailer. Not just for T8, but Tekken in general. The music, the stage, the lore, the choreography, the awesome design, interactions, cool impactful moves, there's mystery behind the character and of course the ewgf reveal. 11/10 character

To those curious, according to the leaks that have been circulating for months now, Reina is ALLEGEDLY another of Heihachis illegitimate children like Lars, making her his and Kazuyas half sister. Around the time this leak started circulating, someone asked Harada if Heihachi had any other secret children out their besides Lars. He responded that Heihachi has at least between 18 to 25 other children, all from different countries. And that Harada could only 'confirm' 9 at the moment. The dude apparently coped with the incident with kazumi by going on a worldwide bangfest and left A LOT of bastards in his wake.

So she knows Jin in someway when i think has to do with a part of his family. She could be two things at this moment. She is either his sister that he never knew he had or his cousin while seeing she has a cut scene with Jin dad that means he had a daughter as well at some point with another woman maybe. This character will have a lot to offer in my opinion, there are numerous clues that prove it: the stage highlights numerous references to the "Honmaru" stage of Tekken 4, the "Pagoda Temple" of Tekken 2 and the "Mishima Dojo" of Tekken 7, the background music has numerous references to "Emotionless Passion" and "As Bald As", Kazuya and Heihachi's theme songs in Tekken 2, and his fighting style has CLEAR references to the Mishima style!

The pagoda temple (T2) and the Mishima Dojo (T7)are the exact same locations. That’s where you will find the “Heihachi ❤Kazumi” carving on the floor from the Tekken 7 trailer. Kazumi was already teased as far back as Tekken 2. This stage however resembles the “modified version” of Jin’s stage in Tekken Tag 1.

The Tekken 9 nobody saw coming.

Some disclosure here , I’m a more fairly Tekken player , but I feel you with this character love her design style her moves even her voice sounds pretty cool. I like Nina but she might be the other my favourite character I’ll see when it comes out .

The start of her song is so sick it almost sound like a Metroid Song, I love it.

This is my OC Reina, Heihachi's secret granddaughter who nobody knew about until just now. He taught her personally so she can kill Kazuya and Jin if he ever dies. She's basically Talia Al Ghul.

Reina is the golden ticket to re-ignite the entire Tekken franchise and I'm up for it.

1:24 that headbutt has Heihachi written all over it 😂. I’m convinced she’s either another Mishima bloodline character or someone he trained in secret. She has a lot of moves similar to him with the EWGF, hellsweep, palm thrust, dragon punch, etc.

Just noticed it but at 1:22 vs Jin she did a move similar to Heihachi's old T5 Seiryu Mon but with Twin Hammers as an ender.

Reina Mishima looks like an amazing addition to the Tekken series! Her design is so unique, and I can't wait to see her moves and backstory in Tekken 8. The Mishima bloodline lives on, and Reina seems like a worthy successor to Heihachi. Can't wait to play as her and dominate the tournament!

That's the same ghost/spirit from the Tekken 3 opening! The one that attacked Jins arm in that forest!

The voice acting is great and makes her cockiness better. Love her vibe already.

Seeing her beat Kazuya's Electric Wind God Fist with HER OWN gave me HELLA chills.

i was sad when i saw that heihachi will no longer be around in tekken 8. but seeing her and her mix of hei's moves and some other stuff like how jin did with his fighting style makes her unique and I can't wait to play her.

The way she greets Jin with a cute voice and then changes to a serious tone is cool.

I love how the "legitimate" Mishima heirs all use traditional Karte styles while the illegitimate Mishimas use "not quite Karate, but close enough" For the "legitimate" Mishimas: Heihachi uses Goju Ryu Kazuya uses Shotokan Jin uses Shitoryu and Kyokushin Now for the "illegitimate" ones: Lars uses Shaolin Kempo (While not specifically Shaolin, Karate has it's roots in Chinese Kempo) And now Reina who uses Taido, a martial art inspired by Karate but with a very different approach, school of thought and tecniques.
