Maybe because he is this time around Devil Jin always was treated like a second person, whenever Jin transformed he was never in control of himself, combine that with the fact he can't seem to transform anymore and they may have decided to split the two characters in the story ...but that's just a theory, a gaaame theory

That small smile he makes during that finisher really solidifies his personality of being an incarnate of pure evil. I love that small touch

I like that Devil Jin in this game both uses his Devil powers a lot more AND is more of an unhinged, violent, destructive psychopath rather than what was more like a restrained force of nature. He actually feels like a completely different character now instead of "Tekken 3 Jin with horns & wings".

@@DemonSaine He was added because Tekken 4 completely changed Jin's moveset and there were a lot of players that liked how he played in T3/Tag so they added DJ so both can be catered to. Unfortunately vanilla Jin barely even resembles T4 Jin these days.

Really like that his personality is very different from Jin's this time. In T7, Devil Jin was just edgy brooding Sasuke, now he's edgy crazy psychopath, big upgrade if you ask me!

I remember seeing this guy on his Tekken 3 ending back back around 2001 and not understanding a single thing, fast forward to Tekken 5 and he's fully playable...and now seeing him here makes me teary :')

So hyped about Tekken. I started playing Tekken 3 (Hwoarang main) loved it and then took a break until Tekken Revolution (Devil Jin main) and then took a break and now seems like a good time to get back into Tekken 8 again, tried the demo Nina has been my favorite to play so far. Good job for keeping Tekken alive it’s been a beautiful journey to see childhood games excel into greatness. Can’t wait to play the full game hope everyone else enjoys it just as much.

Diablo Jim is finally here! He has even more moves than what shown in the final build!

Completed the campaign. It was great

His eyes feel so much more alive this time around. More emotion in the voice delivery too

Oh wow the announcers dude didn’t disappoint at all with this his induction and man is devil Jin brutal. This gave me goosebumps. And the voice acting was amazing 🤩.

This was a great trailer the overall presentation and everything and the voice actor really did an amazing job, I can’t wait for the full game to come out. I’ve been playing Djin since the demo he has really great combos. The future for tekken 8 is bright 💯

As a kid I was scared of him Nowadays, he is one of my favorites I love these games since I'm 5

I could already tell a bitnfrom the story demo, but I really like the changes they made to him. His moves feel very satisfying to pull off!

I’ve never played tekken before but t8’s promos and trailers alone got me sold they did excellent keeping the hype alive for a whole year

He sounds super badass with his new dialogue!! Plus we finally get a new take of his evil laughter, rather than the take from the 5th game getting reused in each game after that.
