Wait but the mom called the cops as soon as it hit 6.. she went to the neighbors, and she didn’t let her be even 10 seconds late. That’s a good mom.

mike lee yeah but that doesn’t make any difference, my point is how fast she did it. It wasn’t like “ she gave her a extra 5 minutes to get home” it was her immediately calling around to see if she’s okay.

phoebri I live near a lot of woods because I’m from NJ. A fun thing animals love to do here, from possum to skunk to deer to Fox, all love to run really fast in front of your car at night and just get mesmerized by your headlights and accept death. I hit a bunny and cried for 3 days. I was 18.

I know it's a small thing but my son walks in the door at 3:43pm from school every day. Every day, exact same time. This particular day, I made his favorite dinner and had it ready down to the minute when he should've walked in. 5 minutes late: I take notice, but think it could be road work or a train. 10 minutes: I begin to get nervous, get in my car and ride down to the bus stop. I begin riding up and down my road yelling and looking for him. 15 minutes in: I call my dad, who is close to the school and he heads that way. 20 minutes in: I'm in full panic mode, go to my neighbors house to see if his school mate had came home. No answer. The kid does track, so this cleared up nothing as he sometimes stays after school. In my panic, the tears begin flowing and feel like I'm having a panic attack. 24 minutes in: I ride back down to the bus stop and see the most beautiful site my eyes have ever seen. My boy exiting the bus! I've had more near death experiences in my life than most people, but those 24 minutes were the most terrifying of my life. I cannot begin to think what these parents and family go through. I figure that first night is the worst. Knowing they're in the dark, away from home and you can't do anything. I feel the panic now even as I type. Ol' dad makes sure to pick him up from school now, screw that bus.

Grant Wiley Esq. I feel this in every way! My 13 year old twin siblings come into the house at exactly 2:15 everyday from school. Not one minute early or late, exactly at 2:15 so whenever it’s past that time I get this pain in my stomach that something can be wrong because what can be holding them back. I see a lot of missing children storylines from where I’m from so I think of the worst when they don’t make it home at their usual time. I start calling anyone I can think of but I as soon as I hear their footsteps coming up the stairs, I feel a big relief knowing that they are home.

Just my two cents. Given the scale of searching and what have you their first priority was likely to cover as much ground in hopes of optimizing their chances of finding her alive, first. Also, as the town is pretty small it might've been difficult to coordinate both searches and conduct interviews.

Sociopathic people exist, and so many more! Welcome to the human race. Can't easily be summed up by one or two people. Yes, common traits can be found among every human in existence, but don't judge the whole by the minority. oscar mendez You may be a child yourself and plus her child might understand that she wants to protect her.She may hate not being able to go to sleepovers, but its keeping her safe. Also she is not a "Weirdo" for wanting to protect her child from a psychopath.BOI

Jon John you can't let them out anymore . People are fucked up out there in the world . Thank you for protecting your child to the best of your ability. I'm not saying she's a bad mom , but I just think some people are naïve to how cold the world is , they think everyone is like them .
