my dad got so mad when Tatanka sold out to Dibiase. he told me to take the Tatanka poster off my door and everything. he knew it was all staged of course but that’s the power the characters have 15 or so years later he had a roommate who used to wrestle and the guy told me wrestling Dibiase was hard because he was so nice to him that he could barely even pretend to hurt him

It can't be. Until, maybe all of this is forgotten. I'm talking hundreds of years in the future. It could all come around again. But, with all we know today, about the business.. the magic is gone. And, the characters, the talent, the whole paradigm has shifted. Wrestling isn't what it used to be, and, as you say, probably won't be again anytime soon If ever.

@@r.boss5373 If you think Flair is overrated, you really got no clue about wrestling. And no, his promos weren't 80% the same. If anything, he was one of the few wrestlers who had a wide variety of styles. From being completely batshit crazy (especially in the late 90's), to being a loudmouth egomaniac to being a subdued, respectful worker (1989, Steamboat) to being afraid for his life (Starrcade 1993, Flair acted as if he was about to get killed by Vader), he had a good range of different, fitting characteristics. That made him great. On the other hand, Ted DiBiase indeed always did the same promo. "I'm rich, you're not, hahahahaha". Of course it worked, but he was very one-dimensional. Maybe you should look up some old wrestling, you definitely need to learn a thing or two about it.

I live in Wisconsin. Milwaukee is a great city but it is absolutely NOT a basketball city lmfao wtf. Before Giannis, no one gave a shit about the Bucks. The only team people in Wisconsin really care about are the Packers

I wasn't even alive when that happened, but it's an iconic WWF golden age moment to me. If the WWE got a hold of the guy they could totally do something with him and Ted.

There's no way they could do that basketball segment today. I mean you had DiBiase telling a little black boy that he looked like poverty.
