Nice Toturial Will. I recreate that a little more hard, put a Saturator and EQ Channel from Eq Filters on Rumble audio and the result is good too.

I recommend everyone using Reverb or Delay techniques for techno rumble to print those channels to audio and only use the parts where the reverb/delay ramped up already.

Here it is. Another practical tutorial to be integrated into my flow. I like particularly the explanation of the effects chain associated with the Rumble. How to fine tune the rumble is now crystal clear and inspiring. Thank you.

In working with many people, I wonder if you have any tips on using hardware controllers to help with the composition side of edm production? There are lots of videos on what controllers (push, launchpad, key step, etc) do, but short of spending several hundreds of dollars I’m not sure how useful they are.

i have a question, i want to create a hard techno kick and i'm using a drum rack for using more samples together, i add effects (delay, reverb,...) for make rumble in one kick or in all kicks?

Does anyone know how to route an audio track input audio track in Logic for this? I can create the same effect with auxilary/bus channels but am wondering if there is a more proper way. Thanks!

Hey man great tutorial ! I have a question, I understand why everything under 120 HZ is Mono. There is a track by Tiger Stripes called “Planet Dying”, his Sub Bass sounds like its completely Stereo, and it sounds soo massive and Full !!! For the life of me i cant figure out how hes doing that

Just a normal MIDI track, but the routing set to "Sends Only" rather than the master. This means it won't be audible :)

I've got a simple question. When you preview the Sub Rumble track, you solo it and you hear the audio of the kick coming through. Whenever I try to do that I hear nothing. I need to have my main kick track also 'soloed' in order to hear the rumble track. Is this an ableton 11 feature, I have 10, or is there some setting somewhere I'm overlooking?

I can't figure this out in Logic Pro.

My OCD is kicking in here But when you are soloing the Rumble track my Kick channel dies causing my rumble track to be silent too. It doesn't seem to be doing that for you. What am I missing?

Mmm... it sounds too muddy for my taste. Maybe you should resample it to get rid off the reverb tail that overlaps.
