Don't forget about mushroom hunting 👍 this year i tried something different by using a size 2 circle hook on my wacky setup and it works good you just have to remember that the hook is open no weed gaurd so watch where you throw it.

Ott your my favorite bass fisherman. Not afraid to proclaim your faith love that. I’m also a believer I’m baptist and always try to keep God first I fail a lot but just glad he’s a forgiving God love your channel and always watch when your on mlf when I can

I fish the boat canals in our RV Park. They are weeds from side to side, and a lot of fish cruise in those canals. So I fish the edges and the center. When they are cruising many times they hit it in the first few seconds. On the edges it takes the technique you just described. Standing on a dock and catching fish after fish is just a blast. Bass, pike, and bowfin, the bowfin. The pike really love bladed jigs. As I tell my son, if it shakes on the end of the line I am happy. Thanks for the tips.

I hate to burst any bubbles, but I was taught this technique back in 1975. Used a 6" creme worm, and caught many stringers of bass up to 9lbs in weight. While it works in larger reservoirs, the best results came in farm ponds of still water of shallow to medium depth.

I hate to give up the juice but when they are on the bed my go to is a pink fluke slit it on the top or bottom and slip you a alchaseltzer in it.

The wacky rig is one of my go to rigs don't matter if its a senko or a trick worm on it. The rig flat out catches fish

About 80 percent of the time it's weight less but I have tried the weighted about 1/8 oz

What weedless hooks do you use.

Ott 10lb hyperbraid in yellow? I can't find it. Heavy line yes the lighter line no. I like that hyperbraid cast well.
