How To Catch Bass With Plastic Worms! **INSANE UNDERWATER FOOTAGE**

Спорт

Want to become a better fisherman? There is no better way than to head underwater and study bass behavior! Come along as Matt teaches how to get the most out of plastic worms while studying footage of actual bass eating a ned rig, dropshot, shaky head, and texas rig!
We learn a ton about bass behavior when we head underwater, but we also learn about the lures we're using. From above, a ned rig doesn't look like much but when it hits the bottom it comes to life, and its obvious bass can't resist them! Did you see any stand out baits in today's video? Perhaps it was the way that Smallie Smasher shakes at even the lightest touch on a dropshot, or the way the shaky head sways on its way to the bottom.
Below you'll find links to some of our favorite baits from each category. We've included our best colors and rigging components for each. All the links go directly to Tackle Warehouse where you can see detailed photos and descriptions of each item.

When I was 8-9 years old my dad taught me how to fish a plastic worm, he made me count 12 seconds between twitches, and those twitches were 2-3 very light taps....amazing how many bass I caught using that technique throughout my life, and crazy how few were caught going any faster.

Fish it that slow huh… that’s crazy.. how many casts to you do a minute then? Wouldn’t it be hard to cover any water?

Thank you. More insight than the whole video. Actually giving a time for how long to let it sit helps way more than just saying, let it sit.

@@acuailtrash7320 well, get your bait out into an area that you think the fish are at, work it slow there and if you feel it is out of the area of the fish, just reel in and re-cast. But if you're unsure of the structure and cover at a lake you may be better off with few casts and working slowly all the way in to get a feel for the body of water.

I'm 56 years old, been fishing my whole life, grew up with a tributary of Ohio River right in front of my house,( really like 1/4 mile away), so I been in front of water with large mouth, smallies ,and alot spots! Rivers full of spots! I mean spotted bass, not fishing spots lol. But just wanted to say thank you to both of you big time. Like I said been bass fishing along time, but you guys are great at like this video at slowing down, what I got the most today, slow down when worm fishing, because we will get going to fast all time trying cover water. So ty for all you guys do, love product videos, rods, reels, baits, you guys figured it out early in you tube, and it's been a good ride!!!!!!! Ty and GOD bless you and your family's!!!!!!!!!

I fish all my plastics super slow. My catch rate is pretty high really. My slogan is “little bit, let it sit”. Another thing to think about…Watch the tip of your pole when you move it. We think we are moving the bait a little because of our hand movement. Yet, the tip of the pole is moving 3-4’(or more). Try moving the tip of your pole 1-2’ instead. This is more of a finesse approach and is a super deadly.

I have been going down a rabbit hole for bass fishing. Thanks for the information. While I have fished in the past, at 57 years young, I am a noob. I was in a shop today and there was a lady there. She seemed to know what she was talking about. I have learned that you just need to ask someone with experience for advice. I told here my situation with fishing and she said "You need to learn to rig a Texas Rig." She then proceeded to pick out everything I needed to make them. She recommended using bobber stoppers but this place didn't have any. We didn't discuss how to use it but your video explains that. Anyways, I am looking forward to trying the Texas Rig out this weekend at the lake. Thanks again.

Just moved to a property in Fort Meyers, Florida and have a house on a lake. Haven’t been having much luck catching bass even though my Simrad tells me they’re down there. Lol Let’s see if my luck changes after watching this video. Thanks again. 👍🏼

Thanks for an incredible video of Bass taking plastics!! It is so very rare to see this occur underwater like you filmed it. This was a rare treat!! Great recommendation about slowing the presentation. Rigging very well explained too. We can guess what a take looks like down there but it's fantastic seeing it actually happen. Take care and the best in your fishing.

I have to say this with all respect. I moved to NC coming f😂rom salt water fishing in Florida. Knowing I have to relearn fresh water fishing from 40 years ago. WELL, God Bless you.... After months of questions and Videos. Trials and errors, I ran across your AWESOME site. You make it so easy to understand. Your underwater footage just validates you know what your talking about. I am confident that if I use a worm and work it very slow. I WILL catch fish. Thank you so much.
