Want to know how to rig a Senko or other stick baits? Soft plastic worms come in many forms and one of the most popular is a simple stick bait. Let Lake Fork Guy explain to you your best options when it comes to rigging a style of soft plastic worm known as stickbaits. The stickbait, just a straight tail worm made of soft plastic imitating baitfish, gives off a subtle action that catches fish from winter to summer. Here's a breakdown of the sections of this video.

00:30 - Texas Rig

Thank you so much for this awesome video. As a very novice angler I can't tell you how much value these videos have to me. Not having any family that knows how to fish or knowing anyone who can teach me there is no way I could learn these techniques without the internet/youtube and people like googan squad and you all. I could read tons of how to books and never learn how to properly do something that I can learn with one good example like this video.

One other way I've found, especially for very short sticks (2.5",) is to wacky rig a ball head jig that causes the lure to drop faster and gives lures that have less action than the Senko a much better wobble on the way down. Thanks for the suggestions.

The o-ring technique when utilizing a wacky rig is fantastic because it doesn’t destroy the bait nearly as much and creates a linear action with the hook, which can also orient the hook in such a way that it will not hang on weeds.
