Technically I trained him (Jason Lawrence) for 8 days…
This one is an absolute banger with one of the greats in the sport of Motocross and Supercross. Jeff Emig was one of the sports most enigmatic figures through the 90's and instead of retiring into the sunset post career, he started on a whole new journey in sports broadcasting. After 12 years calling the AMA Supercross he now has a new focus in the form of the World Supercross Championship with long time partner Ralph Sheheen.

Fro is such a talented dude. So glad he’s on WSX!!!
I love these videos man. I grew up watching McGrath and Emig going at it and this brings back great memories. And for that I thank you 🍻
Stumbled into your channel. What a surprise to have Jeff as a guest - such a terrific person. Watched his complete career from afar. Jeff and Ralph were so good at SX, and happy to know they are back together for WSX. 👍👍
Miss J Law. Grew up watching him kill it out here in D6
INTERVIEW J-LAW
So dope! Love Fro!!! Your podcasts are always badass bro... keep up the hard work!!! 🤙🤙
i’m hoping one day j law is on podcast
Really appreciate Fro's perspective and glad he is still active in the sport.

It’s funny what Emig thinks a “pro athlete” trains like. The moto crowd doesn’t even have a clue. Collectively the bar is so low in this sport.
RC ruined it for everyone 😅 He was the catalyst that led to increased fitness levels. The morning after RC won his first perfect season he was up at 6am and in the hotel gym.
Jeffro with the Shift Camo pants! That era was amazing!
Jeff hears the word "Parties", then instantly sniffs.

Emig inspired me with the weed test back in the day. He gave me faith I could become a champion and smoke 💨 Now it’s legal. Emig is a legend.
You are really good at this podcast 🎉
Gypsy Tales on top best moto Podcast hands down
Love hearing Jeff these days... However, I would say Ricky changed it all... his drive, focus, trainig wins set the bar..
They made an example out of J law 100% grew up racing with him he always beat everyone every class was so awesome too watch
emig is great on here I never realized how dope he was
Jase and Fro for President! Braaap!!
Steel City 1996 was Lit AF 👍
Emigs a legend
Love the FRO!!!!
Rockin' the jet black died hair JM...brap brap!
Physical ability isn’t what held jlaw back, he was already beating the two names mentioned lol
I read j laws apology in racer x in 5th grade after the rv fight was so stoked to see the rival good days they were 05cr250 on showrooms
Oh, Loc Dogg like dat bike den.. Can Loc Dogg take it fo a spin?
JLaw was one of those naturally talented riders tho in my opinion

He had a ton of talent, but it’s like the old saying goes “talent will get you to the top, but character is what keeps you there.”

@@racingfuel28exactly he didn’t have what it takes to be a champion. Discipline outside the track is just as important as skills on the track, I’ve seen hundreds of riders with J Law talent. I don’t feel bad for him because he at least got his chance and he blew it multiple times , not like he messed up once or twice or even 8 times
Interview Ozzie riders
Me and my best friend started racing around 12 and by 14 we were in 250c starting to do decent at the local level. This was 2007 to 2012. We partied hard and trained hard, but you can't out train the partying. When i broke my back in 09 and got on the the pain killers it was over. I was still racing and doing well all things considered but as the habit got worse everything else went away. By 2011 both of us were partying it up 5 days a week and would barely sober up for race day. I never would have made it even without the drugs and alcohol, but my buddy might have. Sadly he died from drug related violence in 2013 and that was the end of both of our racing careers. I didn't get on a bike again until 2017 and only do practice days. I'll occasionally make a push to maybe race the 25+ B class but with work and life it's hard to put in the time. Now this past year I went through some really scary health issues and ended up selling my bike and don't know if I'll ever take another shot at racing again. Wish things had been different and i had taken it more seriously when i had the chance. But hey when youre a kid and everyone around you is going hard and there's no one to stop you but yourself it's hard not to fuck off.

@Jerry Hill thanks bro. I think a lot of us in that era got injured and hooked on those God damn prescription pills. Seen lots of moto guys in rehabs and at the clinic. They were dishing that shit out like candy to us.
someone bring J Law back ! Please !!!
The Hills rolled harder than most rock bands I've toured with. Live to ride...but Smoke to recover? Sure
Got caught with some weed at a party?
I’m ama banned j-law - why not run him to do world sx
