In this Tech Talk, Mike goes over the steps needed to properly install adapter rings to your TM40.
If you have purchased a TM40 Components kit from us, this video will help you understand how to get the rings adhered to your TM40. All you need is a good epoxy. We prefer to use, DEVCON: Home 2-ton epoxy (2,500 PSI) strength.
Be sure to use equal parts hardener to resin and mix thoroughly. This will ensure proper adhesion to the rings and carb. If not mixed properly, the rings can come loose, let excess air or water into the cylinder.
