MJ was already playing at such a high level. Wild! Props also to Bobby Knight for being an incredible coach, albeit with some anger issues. 😂💯
I was at that game. AS we can all see Jordan was unbelievable.
Jordan was ready for the league before he came in
3:28 boy was he right 😭😭😭
I remember watching this. Such talent in the basketball world blossoming into legends. I was 14 and in love with basketball.
The thing ppl forget is that MJ was a mediocre jump shooter coming into the league. He literally worked his way to becoming the best midrange shooter ever. If anyone doubts he could've worked his way into a decent 3 point shooter they're delusional

His career 3-pt percentage was the same as Kobe's. The idea that he couldn't shoot threes is a myth.

Not true. He got a little better but look at this video. He made a ton of midrange in this video.

Jordan could always shoot. He won the NCAA National Championship with a last second clutch shot. He made shots. He’s had games where he mad 6/7 3’s when it wasn’t the norm. Stop believing the fake debates lies. The reign of the fake “chosen one” is coming to an end.

Kenny Smith said it perfectly. Every weakness that he had at the beginning, became his asset at the end.
Bobby Knight, called the MJ the best player he'd ever seen...
thanks for posting!
Can't believe people actually compares this man to Leflop. That's an insult. Only Kobe

MJ was clearly a better athlete than Kobe too, stronger and faster. Phil Jackson always commented on that being the difference-MJ had insane physical gifts, the foot speed, the large hands. Kobe was an incredible, incredible competitor and nobody worked harder though.

Can we stop debating whether Jordan is the greatest ever. When you lead a team as a college player and college kids to beat NBA All-Stars such as Magic & Isiah, it’s unprecedented.

But his bulls couldn’t get past Boston. Also lot of these all stars just got done playing a full 82 game season then more in the playoffs and finals. They say the all stars in the summer were out of shape. It really doesn’t make sense how this could happen abs as a kid didn’t even hear anything about it. Seriously beating a team 8 straight times with prime Bird, Magic, Mchale, Aguirre. Something could be fishy here.

Dang this was real? I thought they just made it up for the Jordan Challenge
Knight & Jordan. Not fair.
If you're a NBA GM and you didn't pick him #1 when he was available, this proves the average brain power of a NBA GM

Olajuwon is not a bad choice at 1, had he secured his US citizenship early he could have been part of this team as well as Dream Team 92. Hakeem and Jordan were good friends too.
what a pass1:50 2:01 magic is so one of kind !
Packer knew. Knight knew. Goat was the goat before his first nba game.
I know this happened, but I don't believe it. How? I almost wanna think the game was thrown. No way so many young players beat the nba all stars.
@02REESE

They did it eight times though. It does show how not so advanced today's players are.
This would never happen today with the money that is guaranteed on contract. They would never allow star players to play in the off season in this manner.
and another reason on what makes mj the goat is he beat an all nba players team in the olympics when he wasnt even in the nba yet.
And Scottie pippen said that this particular Michael Jordan was a horrible player??? 😮☹️🧐🧐
Can you imagine all-stars coming out to play a competitive game against the youngsters after the season today? It really showed how much money has ruined the essence of basketball.
How after watching this would anyone take Sam Bowie or anyone else over Michael Jordan.
@WeCube1898

Bowie was a decent bigman, its just that he is glass
The stuff shot lol
No offense to the NBA All Stars, but the Olympic team had a better roster.... Jordan, Ewing, Alvin Robertson, Sam Perkins, Vern Fleming?
And he goes against all the legends on the floor and destroy them. And people had an audacity to compare Lebron to the god of basketball, lol.
The goat Michael Jeffrey Jordan😂
Folks you do realize that in 1980 and 1984, the NBA players took it easy on the college guys to boost their confidence for the Olympics? The college guys in 1980 didn't get the chance to play in the Olympics so they set up the NBA exhibition games against the pros and in 1984, Knight asked Isiah Thomas and his buddies to scrimmage his team. The pros would have destroyed that 1984 team with ease.

@@WeCube1898 Beforehand the college coaches asked the NBA players to go hard after the kids BUT not to dominate them because it would have destroyed their morale.
