Unbelievable how much his game changed over the years. Early on he was more of a drive to the basket player with the mid range jumper here and there. In later years he developed the more accurate and almost unguardable fade away jumper.

Didn’t even have a 3PT line when he was in college. That makes it even more impressive he elevated his 3PT% (from the non-shortened line) to 34.5% for his career in the Playoffs and 40% for his career in the Finals. Imagine if he grew up in a 3PT-heavy era how much more effective he would be.

I played HS 🏀 then and had a deep game but my Coach would pull me when I shot deep. And would make the shots at that. After a couple years they put the 3 point line in. I would have averaged 16 a game as a point guard. SMMFH.

god didn't have anything to do with his talent, that was all Jordan and the amount of time he put into perfecting his play. Giving an imaginary god credit for this is an insult to Jordan and his craft. How dare you.

I guess it’s Jordan’s running style but doesn’t it look like his knee or leg is bothering him as he gets back on D? I only got to watch him later in the 90s but he was so smooth then. Here he already had that confident and deliberate attack. As soon as he receives the ball, he knows exactly what his play will be. He has that confidence here but he continued to push his development further. He bulked up from his really lean frame here; probably attributed to series against Detroit. The true GOAT!
