    She is pretty strong to begin with. The video sure made it looks easier than it is. This tutorial is good for people who has the strength but lack the fine tuning techniques to do it.

    Great stuff. I’m in the same place, just started my flag journey and it currently feels impossible but with these movements I believe I can get there with consistent training and a lot of patience. Thanks for the inspiration!

    You ever get it?

  • @simonk8

    @simonk8

    @@WilliamGone Sadly no. I trained it consistently for a couple of months and was making solid progress but then got the dreaded elbow tendonitis and had to back off. I was training for back- lever at the same time and it proved too much. Focussed on handstands and muscle ups when I recovered and had much more success with that but flags are still on the bucket list!

    Great channel, you make it far easier to get into calisthenics. Would not have known how to train towards human flag or a good handstand otherwise.

    Great tutorial. I need to train my active hang separately from my pull ups. Do you find grip strength to be the weakest link in many people? I can barely hold a one arm hang for a second before my grip gives out. I can do many pull-ups but can’t do monkey bars because of my grip.

  • @SchoolofCalisthenics

    @SchoolofCalisthenics

    Hi Martin, yes it would be worth practicing your active hang separately to your pull ups, especially if you find your grip needs some work. Try doing a single arm hang with your feet in a resistance band so you get some assistance. Also try and do more double arm hanging exercises. Tim
