TCG Anadolu warship is the world's first drone carrier
Türkiye's largest warship, the TCG Anadolu, has left Istanbul for a visit to the Black Sea. It's the world's first drone-carrying vessel, and can carry 30 aircraft, including attack helicopters, general-purpose helicopters, warplanes and Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles.
It can also transfer a battalion of troops to a precise location using its own logistics, without the need for home base support. Oubai Shahbandar reports.

Its the worlds first and only "Drone carrier" capable of carrying: **Unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) With Precision-guided munition - Cruise missiles - Antiship missiles - Sonobuoys/Anti submarine - Electronic warfare **Unmanned surface vehicle (USV) With Cruise missiles - Antiship missiles - Electronic warfare - Sonobuoys/Anti submarine - Sonar - Torpedos and Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) capabel of carrying 20 soldiers each. Along side a full battalion unit (1.500 soldiers) with the needed tanks.

Many drones could overwhelm a ships defense and a repurposed ship is vastly less expensive. It's just the comment about Iran having a legit aircraft carrier first that was amusing to me.
