she means that once an artist reaches a certain age (25 which is incredibly young) the music industry will sort of “abandon” them in favor of younger artists. basically, it’s a never-ending cycle that favors youth ESPECIALLY in women. sorry if i didn’t explain it well.

I think one of the great charms of TS is that she has this dorky sensibility with no attempts to hide her intelligence through performative "coolness", she feels like a fully fledged authentic person. I disagree that she’s authentic. Taylor is a multi-millionaire who was outraged enough to use her voice and platform to chew out Spotify over artists not getting enough of a cut from streams (which is fine), but wasn’t outraged enough to call off her fans from sending death threats and racist hate to the Ginny and Georgia actress whom Taylor threw under the bus with a tweet defending herself. (NOT fine). She is very self serving but has a knack for disguising her self-interest as altruism. Used to love her but I’m soooooo disillusioned. Wish she would speak out on things that affect people other than herself.

Respectfully, I disagree. I’m proud of her for her hard work in her creative field but disillusioned by her as a person. I used to be a huge Swiftie but stopped wanting to support her when she tried to silence an op-ed writer with a lawsuit for saying she should denounce her white supremacist fans who said she shared their agenda. That was super shady. The ACLU gave her an admonishing and everything. Why doesn’t anyone ever talk about this?

I think in general, the album an artist just finished is their favorite because that is the expression and outpouring of their current headspace. I first fell in love with her song at 8 years old, and now I'm 20. It has been a long ride, but you never failed to make me go back and listen to your songs over and over again. Your music has been with me throughout my journey in life. Thank you, Taylor ❣️

My daughter is now 7, she was at the last tour and has been BEGGING ever since then to see Taylor Swift again and dreaming of singing on stage with her ❤

The momentum and love for Taylor from her fans just increases every album and I don’t know many artists who have anything remotely close to that. She’s so timeless and elegant and I’m so happy to be here watching this. The album was a masterpiece and this era has been so incredible. She deserves all the awards, thank you for being so vulnerable and open 💕💕💕 I can’t wait to fight the girls and gays for concert tickets.

I like how humble she is. She just made history and she is sitting there with her cute smile. She always appreciate us, the fans and she is the only artist who actually gives so much attention to the fans and after all these years we are indeed like friends.

​@@elletotherescue yeah maybe a little bit. but usually it is only for the ones who actually helped her become who she is that are the ones who are "allowed" to say that. so mainly the ones who raised her, or helped her actively through life - like her mum. To me it is a bit like inadequate to say: oh wow I am so proud of you (that you are so hard-working) - but actually her parents were the ones who taught her to be like that. But yea, of course if she didn't have fans she also wouldn't be where she is- insofar there is point of justification in your comment.

She speaks like a master craftswoman, a true artist in every sense of the word..the way she explains the whole writing process and how it integrates with her life makes me spellbound. She is a genius, with a music IQ that is out of this world. Just wow.

She's undoubtedly the Music industry. Love her vibe, hype, energy and just her presence so much

As soon as I heard mastermind I knew it wasn’t just a love song, it was for us the fans, and this just confirmed it! We know she’s a mastermind and we love her because of that ❤

Taylor is so creative and talented. I truly admire her creative soul and her ability that she has to express her feelings and make such good music. For that reason, she still gets recognition and fame

I remember the first time I saw Taylor perform, when she was probably 15 or 16. It was at a little dive in San Jose called the Rodeo Club. No seats, everyone had to stand. There were about 100, maybe 120, people there tops. Taylor was not even the main event, she was just one of the opening acts, and hardly anyone knew who she was at the time. But she wowed the crowd with her fabulous guitar playing and singing of songs that she had mostly written herself. I would say she has done okay since then.

She is truly a once in a lifetime artist

Also, the plane thing is a great point, but most the flights on that study were made as she had rented her plane to someone else (who would still be flying private, on her plane or not), which is not the case for some other names in that list.

I think she has a great dinamic with the fandom, but the way she treats us makes lot of fans feel entitled to her life. I'm glad she cherishes us, but I don't think we should see ourselves as her friends: 1. because we don't know her, 2. Because she deserves to have boundaries and People still havent learned that

Did anyone watch the video footage from ‘The Best Day’ when she’s a toddler, and her mom tells her she’s beautiful, and Taylor says, “Thank you for saying that.” It’s so sweet! BUT - she says the same thing when someone gives her a compliment today.

I think part of why Taylor seems so comfortable, is because Jimmy has always been very funny, but still respectful towards her and they seem to be vibing really well.
