I remember listening to this song for the first time. I heard the first verse and was like, "Oh, it's a cheating song, that's why it's no body, no crime, because she can't find him and his lover's living bodies together" and then thirty seconds later it was just "I WAS WRONG IT'S A MURDER SONG"

I discovered this song (as well as this album and TS in general) this year and it's the first time in a while I was listening to a song like to a story, eager to find out what happened next. I don't know what it says about me but I find the ending deeply satisfying.

I Love this song! The story is so good! So far we have the same favorites. I love champagne problems and no body no crime too. And I don’t know how your black background with a message on it copyright things are so charming, but I’m not annoyed by them at all

Este is Taylor's bestfriend (in the song) So, Este feels her husband cheating and tells it to Taylor.. She also told Taylor that she will confront her husband about it... After that Este did not show up for their friend date (they always eat together and tell stories at thursday/tuesday) and then the husband files a missing report of Este.. So Este had been missing but as Taylor drives past their house she notices that the truck tires of Este's husband were brand new and that the mistress moved in with Este's husband... So Taylor started to plan the murder of Este's husband... And so she did.. And she framed the mistress for it...
