It’s crazy to me how invested I am over a couple of owls far across the world from me. I love them. 😊

Its so wonderful to be able to watch this pair again.

It really is such a treat to be able to see and enjoy these beautiful birds up close. Their feathers and faces are so beautiful and intricately patterned, their behaviors are so individual and full of personality, and their lives' dramas are so poignant. Mr. Fuller, your passion for these films really comes through. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of these animals' intimate lives that would otherwise be unknown and hidden to most of us. Such a treat!! ❤

Nests in old wood piles. Cute little face facing outwards. What a beautiful creature and we feel like having one. Pest control birds, help farmers by controlling rodent populations. Their existence is very useful.

Ive lived at my house for five years and as of tonight i have a pair of Great Horned owls courting outside. Constant hooting for 2 1/2 hours. This is a suburb to so its amazing to hear it.

I checked in on the livestream yesterday and Luna was hanging out in the entrance to Beech Stump while it rained. I guess she's planning on staying there for a while.

Love how they stare into the camera, as if knowing it's an "eye". Do you clean out the nests occasionally? The world looks so cold, it popped into my head "They need a wood burning stove." OK head, think about it.

Here in the UK we are mid autumn and we would normally expect to see Luna choose a nest box around this time. We will be able to watch her now through the winter and into the breeding season next spring.

So amazing to watch..could just do without the background music..so we can enjoy the natural sounds and the silences...couldn't watch further...
