Thanks and ya they never took the time to teach me either even though I was there for 4 months but I had scoliosis and was fused already so they had me try once and then gave up on me and never had me try again so I taught myself that’s why I still can’t always do it

Everything in this life is a journey. Believe me, 12 years later myself I just push through things. I Work full time, own my own place. I went from a can, forearm crutches and now a walker..but mostly wheelchair. Everything is possible with being connected to oneself. Mind/soul health Keep pushing your positive thoughts and offerings. Spot on!

That must be like you ran a marathon. Well done. I hope medicine advances and brings about something to help you gain some strength/movement in your legs for a start, that would make it much easier. I think something kind of like that already exists though it might be more for preserving already existing strength and it is quite costly.

Yes it does lol I kinda run out of breath since I can’t actually run but I’m pretty proud of myself for that ☝️! been always trying to improve and tried it yet again today the link should be around but anyways its always nice to see how much if any improvement I have made! This is after at least 5 or 6 months of not doing anything really

@@VernSea0168 I can't run either. Lol. I tried a new transfer yesterday. The first time was a success, though I had a tiny bit of help. So I tried doing it again by myself, and I just could not figure out how I did it. And by the second or third failed attempt I ran out of what little energy I had, so I had to lay there for a bit to rest. Then I tried a different method to get back up, which I managed to do myself. Though I'm hoping to try the first way again once I gain more energy and rest.

@@zakimerxero3771 right that makes complete sense, I recently after twelve years of doing it one way have decided to switch up my car transfer when I go to get out I put the chair together differently so it won’t slide away from me but that just depends on where I’m at as to how I do the transfer if it’s on asphalt or a street I can do it the way I’ve always done it but if it’s in my smooth garage floor or any other smooth area I tend to have trouble with it sliding away from me and I have trouble putting the one wheel back on

Taunie Sealock I've never driven a car with a backup camera I've always just managed to look over the shoulder as they say but I have to say your sense of balance is awesome seriously I cannot get up from the floor anymore but let me not cry on your shoulder

I don’t necessarily have the option to turn my head with my neck being fused so the backup camera just helps and so does the blind post things cuz I can’t look over my shoulder that far and even if I do the plastic divider in the car is in my way big I didn’t always have that so I make do with what I have but now I don’t gave to cuz it’s built in and hands free steering wheel buttons to change the song of turn it up or answer my phone Ect it’s pretty nice but you can say whatever you want I’m on here as a friend so if you need someone to talk to I will listen and do my best to help you out Ect

Sometimes the best help you can give someone is to let them help themselves and just be their spotter if you are there with them. In this case she had her father so she was just about good. Though him being far and his hands kind occupied could've potentially been a hazard. I know he had to in order to record though still, I was fearful for her in case of any tıp over.

I'm not trying to put you down but what you do is extremely dangerous ! You could dislocate a hip , break a leg or something ! I'm a quad C5 C6 too and i wouldn't do it ! I was very scared only looking at this video . Of course it's your body and you choose what to do. I'm just saying someone could follow your example and could be hurt ! Wishing you a happy life !

adi dediu no offense but I had someone there to help if something went wrong and I need to know I can do it cuz I’ve fallen out of bed before and had to get back in my chair from the ground so believe you me I know the dangers and I wasn’t trying to lead by example but just showing that it is possible in case you fall cuz I live on my own

I'm a part-time-wheelchair-user (for long distances and bad days) and I have problems with my bladder (incontinence), this is everything because of a damage in my spinal chord (Osteochondrosis). I thoght it might bie similar for you too? How tall are you?
