You'd think they'd pass word around about his Meteor B Dragon strategy

I’m just imagining a goofy looking pharaoh walking around with two meteor black dragons ordering them to slaughter everything in their path.

Folks in the comments truly revealing they have no idea what a TAS is or what it entails. This leads me to believe that they genuinely believe that this is a recording of a real person just mashing the X button to advance as fast as possible through menus, and he just HAPPENS to draw the right cards every time.

I've never seen a TAS that beats Heishin 1 the first time around, but once he dropped Meteor B. Dragon it all made sense.

Okay, just so I have this right, these are the steps I've written out for this TAS after watching about 10 minutes of play: Step 1: Steal Heishin's Meteor Black Dragon Step 2: Wreck everyone (except Heishin 2 because it's scripted to lose) Step 3: ??? Step 4: PROFIT!!! That sound about right?

@Eclipse He has been proven wrong plenty of times already now though. RNG manip runs are done by so few people they might as well be a nonfactor in the face of 5 and 15 card mod as well as just no manip races of vanilla.

Card order is determined via RNG seeds, and due to the game being fairly archaic, those are based on easy to manipulate factors like time spent in game, current time of day, inputs made in game... Even non TAS runs manipulate rng, though in a more restricted way

Seymore "Gally" Johnson It's going by the very early rules of yugioh, where you didn't need to sacrifice any cards. It was battle city where they introduced that rule

Me: "I wonder if you could TAS a YuGiOh game since there's so much randomness" Me: *watches this* Me: *remembers that TAS's can use RNG manipulation"

Fuck this shit! When I was playing the game I only got the M.Black Dragon at least fighting against Heinshin or Meadow Mage 50 times. This guy is so misterious lucky to get it dropped at the first duel...

This was a TAS, so I was able to try entering the duel on many frames with many starter decks in order to find one that gives me MBD. Although winning MBD like this is completely possible for a human: the current WR at kzread.info/dash/bejne/o657sLGzobLOodo.html uses RNG manipulation to win 3 MBDs off Heishin.

this game was before they implemented sacrificing cards depending on stars and other restrictions so its pretty broken when you get a deck of high attack cards lol

Ok someone must explain : I'm an absolute fan of the game and Heishin 1 CAN'T ACTUALLY DROP A METEOR B DRAGON! The only characters who can drop are Meadow Mage and Jono 2 and he didn't even fought him , second how the hell is that possible , I mean , Jirai Gumo can't be dropped from Weevil if I don't remember badly , I'm truly shocked seeing that.

Heishin 1 drops it very rarely, as does Heishin 2 and Mountain Mage as well as the two you mentioned. Weevil drops Jirai Gumo rarely. You can look up drop tables for the game at www.basededatostea.xyz/#TEA-ONLINE

Well .. to begin with .. the 99999 to get rare cards is complete bullshit, then there is the fact that one does not all of the 722 cards if playing without cheats or purchases. And last, it doesn't matter how well you perform in battles, you will still get shitty cards from strong opponents.
