Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, a game released for several platforms, details the adventures of Abe, a Mudokon, attempting to save his race from slavery and other horrible fates at the hands of the evil Glukkons.
In this run, Samtastic ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/S... ) rescues all 99 of Abe's fellow Mudokons, earning the good ending and unlocking some bonus features to boot.
This movie is 00:22.09 seconds faster than the previous ( tasvideos.org/4310M ) run.

Can still remember how I felt playing the demo disc for the first time. What a special and immersive atmosphere this game had. Pre-rendered 3D backgrounds need to make a comeback.
Seeing an Oddworld speedrun will forever be the ultimate spectacle. No version of me, past, present, or future, would be able to find all the secrets in any of the games, let alone 100% it.

Exoddus was way easier thanks to a more forgiving save system, I 100% that a few times over the years. But Oddysee? Fuck no :D

When you 100% the game the devs call you a chump I love it
nice to see the sligs in the last part behaving like I took control of them as a kid. HONK HONK BLEUGH HEHEHE. just missing the part where I shout LOOK OUT and beat a mudokkon to death in between honks

This is a cool run for an awesome game, but the frequent invisibility plus heavy use of glitches makes it very difficult to "follow me".
The reactions of the Sligs are amazingly spot on...

That's what runners do on the PC version of the game in RTA. It's very well built for speedrunning but we have to save and load at Scrabania, and again at Zulag 1 to prevent the game from crashing. We even got it to a level that the Livepslit timer software that speedrunners use can accurately calculate the in-game time. A well known Welsh runner Namesoom managed to get a sub 35 and his World Record is 34:58. It's gonna be a hard time to beat!

It feels weird if you play the Exoddus story, you'll be used to see a Slig takes a few shots to kill Abe. But in the Oddysee version, it's just 1 shot and you're dead. Still, the entire story is great. Even for a Ps1 game, this game is a gem.
Как он сквозь стены прыгает ? Не понял чет вообще..В ручную можно сделать? Самому то есть ....*? Кстати прохожу сейчас на своем канале exoddus затем начну проходить addysee.
