Since every other character was taken away for this side, I decided I'd just battle a few new ones in a row without getting 5 wins per. The one battle against Manawyddan has screwed up the even number of wins anyway.
Tristan has to be the worst because his deck is too random. He basically has cards that you may want to complete your type specific decks.

Mai is pretty tough on mountains. Nice that there is wasteland around.

Mai is in the role of Margaret Beaufort, Henry Tudor’s mother. She’s looking pretty good for a mother with an adult son.
Machine deck is fun. I made one no higher than 950 with al of Bandit Kieths monsters. I even managed to snag Laberinyth tank by lining up three shadow ghouls. My DL was Launcher Spider. My low level decks were an aqua deck at 900 and a beast/insect deck at 850. Those DLs were Star Boy (a pain to grind to Lt Colonial) and Firewing Pegasus.
Bird that Mai uses is very cute.
thanks man! u have me wanting to start playing again my first time through, i only used a zombie deck then i used a dragon, fiend and spellcaster deck 2nd time now imma thinkn something ive never done...prob bug/plant, machine/dino, and maybe..fairy lol :P
I really liked playing this game. quite challenging. My favourite Playstation 2 game back in those days. not too easy or hard just to enjoy. for fun.
Bro why tf is Tristan so easy to beat in this game lol like its impossible to lose against him. I don't even know what he says after the match if he ever wins lol.

His AI is so bad. He never defends his monsters, even when u purposely leave a strong one flipped up and can go two spaces. I feel his AI sometimes forces his warrior types to go to the meadow field without regard to their safety.

@@aceclover758 By contrast, I found Mai to be a difficult opponent. Unless I played the Winged Beasts deck, it usually took me a few tires to beat her back in the day.

@@storytsunami Mai is difficult if you started this side of the story first because of what you said. Even a winged beast deck is hard agaisnt her. I found a dragon type the way to beat her (starting deck) Fuse for twin headed thunder dragon, make sure you have at least one power up for it and make sure to always kill her Harpie Ladies if they are on the field otherwise, her Pet Dragon, on average, can get 900 points if the sisters are out (remember, due to mountain, pet dragon autumically has 2500 att and 3000 def)

No, it is a pun on the layout of his field. To keep home field buff, you need to move horizontally like a crab.
@StormXDRider I just leveled up a robotic knight that I obtained from Keith or something. My starter was Patrician of Darkness.

If I am not mistaken, machines major abilities are movement bonus for same types and level cost reduction (high level DL). Not sure what the low lv ability. They have both hidden abilities (hidden card find and extra slot arrows).

Oh they are also the third known type to get movement boost for DL And low lv ability is change occupied space terrain

Hey guys i need help; my game doesnt work on my PS2 anymore , is the game on PC or PS3 or XBOX?! I miss it soo much!!!! I used a used a zombie, dragon, machine deck ;)

Yes. Shadi is the only other person to use Zoa.
you can use a emulator (PCSX2 google it) to play PS games on your pc.
I have to laugh at how robotic knight has level 5 stars, world championship '04 had it as 4 stars

I agree. They should have given Tristan something better. He is way too easy at times. One of the easiest. Probably the easiest of all of them with both the red and white side.

Better AI. He has always lost to me attacking my 2000+ monsters with monsters under 1000

They are fun to use. I managed to make an 800 immortal deck.
Triston has horrible AI. He will attack you with low lved monsters and not even defend himself. He has only two magic cards, fairy meteor crush and the Chakra ritual. The only reason his deck cost is so high is because like 48/40 of his cards are monster cards. His strongest stand-alone is Chimera, the Flying Mythical beast. If he would defend, he would have decent graveyard slots. But I did get my first blue eyes and Toon Summonded Skull from him. I lined up monster egg and his deck leader.

If Tristin has forest and meadow by his side, he be a little more threat since majority of his monsters are warriors and beasts. He has a decent number of fiends but most are weak.
