Spyro: Year of the Dragon is the third installment in the Spyro series and the last Spyro game to be released for the PlayStation, in addition to being the last one created by its original creators.

The original any% before the game got busted.
i LOVE videos like this. so much fun to see all the wacky stuff they can pull off. also helps me learn more about how the game works. and i get to see which of the ideas i've had over the years but couldn't do _are_ theoretically possible [without hacking] vs skips that aren't even possible with TAS.
This is one of my childhood favorite games ever 😍🥰 was really nice to see it again! Thanks

Yes. The difference is small, but non-negligible. We save time mostly by being able to skip part of the title screen animation and by having a regular loading screen instead of the Spike Is Born cutscene when we enter Spike's Arena.
I'm just curious, some of the levels are not playing their respective theme. For example, Haunted Tomb is playing Cloud Spires. Which threw me off. Lol

version 1.0 (ntsc) has problems with that, 1.1 and pal versions fix it
