Code Name: Viper is a side-scrolling action game programmed by Arc System Works and released by Capcom in 1990 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The player takes the role of Kenny Smith, code name "Viper", an agent of the 98th Special Forces. He is assigned by his commander, Director Jones, to investigate a large drug syndicate that covers all of South America. Smith's objective is to rescue a missing agent in each of the syndicate's seven hideouts and uncover clues of the Syndicate's true mastermind, all while wearing flesh-colored pants apparently.
Pankaj ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/P... ) saves 1.17 seconds over his previous run through better dialogue management and other minor optimizations.

They don't look THAT bad, at least there's the right amount of fingers for the hand pose

This game was inspried by Rolling Thunder the game was released after first Rolling Thunder 4 years and release in same year of Rolling Thunder 2 was released
Wow decent sized sprites. Looks like a fun game! Some of them sound effect sound like Strider.

Some of the sound effects were in "Bionic Commando" as well.
The jump reminds me of grant from Castlevania III
Looks like he’s not a fan of pants
is noone going to point out that the enemy defeated sound effect sounds like a modified version of mega man 2's mecha dragon

I played, and beat this game many times. Mr. Smith is the all-american James Bond obviously.
Didn't anyone ever teach this guy to knock?
I've got to be honest. I always find odd how (most of) the Enemies appear to disintegrate when killed.
One thing I don't understand, why hardmone? I looked up and the password and I don't understand why.
