I keep finding myself watching every TAS of this game even tho I know aurally I'm gonna have a bad time, but the execution of the game is just that impressive

I love the victory theme its so uplifting and yet ends ominously.

God that ending is so ominous. "Good job, you won! GAME OVER"

This was my mom's favorite game. She used to play it for hours! Sadly, she passed away last year. I think of her each time I watch this video.

One of the possible pills in Arkanoid lets you skip to the next level immediately, yes.

Not used to seeing only one pill drop. Good job tho 👍

So ive been curious about something, after the stage ends it won't move you until after your score has caught up yet enemies continue to move. would any enemies that hit the suspended ball be destroyed or would they just pass through? Odd question but can't help but be curious since you won't see your score not beat a stage clear speed sweep in a non-TAS. Beautiful TAS by the way!

The rules for this category mean you can't use the laser, from what I can tell.

Gameplay this perfect was not meant for us mere mortals

"The era and time of this story is unknown. After the mothership 'Arkanoid' was destroyed, a spacecraft 'Vaus' scrambled away from it. But only to be trapped in space warped by someone..." This TAS is absolutely nuts. Was this truly done in an automated subenvironment only to be completely replicated on the NES? Insaaaaane.

It probably takes a billiards scientist to go about optimizing this TAS

How come only one power up shows up, and it's ALWAYS disperse?
