Grace saying "you can see me" is such a powerful statement. It means so much to see non-binary/trans folks in a public setting, regardless of how "traditional" their bodies are. It makes my heart so happy to see the two of you living in your best bodies and the world will benefit so much from seeing the both of you.
Love you both so much! Old grandmother to a pre-op Trans teen here. You have taken away so much fear and confusion! THANK YOU!
I'm a closeted genderqueer teen, and seeing this video made me cry. I didn't know bodies like this could exist. You two are such an inspiration to me; thank you for sharing your stories.

I just had top surgery two weeks ago, I have wanted this since I was 11 years old, I’m 65, that’s a long, long, did I say long time. I had nerve block surgery, my pain level was zero after surgery with the exception of the drains they were bloody brutal. I came home same day but the following morning I started feeling nauseated and passed out twice, needless to say I ended up back in hospital for a second operation I was bleeding internally. I lost 5pints of blood. I was very fortunate that there was a surgeon on call who did cancer mastectomies and she followed the stitch line of my plastic surgeon. Forgive my rambling and I hope this makes some sense. I so enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing you story. ❤️

@Robb3636

@@HelveticaPickles If you mean the top surgery, it probably isn't. There's a few different types of top surgeries available to AFAB (assigned female at birth) folks, often non binary people's top surgery looks exactly like what a trans man's results look like, like Ash's and Grace's results in this video. Sometimes people choose not too have their nipples reattached, or some non binary people will just have a chest reduction, rather than remove all of the fat, but usually they're the same as the ones trans guys get.

@Sdrrshock1 1 Even if biology would equal gender identity (which it doesn't, that's why non-cis-people exist) there are conditions such as gynecomastia which is an unusual enlargement of breath tissue in cis men. So that "argument" of yours is not valid. But I don't think you'd like to be convinced why basic human decency should apply to all, so I'll stop my efforts right here. Have a good day.

I've been waiting!
I had surgery after a motorcycle accident, and ended up with some nerve damage. I had the problem with unscratchable itches and tingly pain at first. Now it's two years later, and a lot of that has gone away. Some is your brain trying to remap to the new nerve locations. One thing that helped me was to have acupuncture, and doing your best to stimulate the nerve damage areas to help your brain figure it out!

Ash I know this video is years old and you don’t check KZread comments anymore from what you’ve said on your socials, but I want to say I am finally getting top surgery and this video has made me so excited. I really hope my scars heal similarly to how yours did and that my results look anything near as lovely as yours and Gray’s. You’ve been such an inspiration through this journey, I came out at 14 and am not 20 for reference. Again, don’t know if you’ll see this but it you do thank you for giving me hope and the ability to see a future.

Lmao I decided to just watch the first video in my subs while eating my lunch in this busy bus terminal and BAM NIPPLES and I turned the brightness ALL THE WAY DOWN lmao Very sweet video y’all
Just another small queer voice but heck grace’s chest turned out AMAZING and I’m so happy for both of you. Being Trans and Non Binary sometimes feels like, hard to explain to people. And I feel like there can be uncomfortable judgement out there regarding surgery for Non-Binary Gender Affirmation. But like y’alls say, our bodies are OUR bodies, and we are allowed to make our own choices for ourselves, based off of what we are comfortable with, and what we want/need. And there’s so many different (and fabulous) ways to not fit the gender binary. Thanks for being so visible and for making content that makes people like me feel included and part of a larger community. You guys are the best ❤️

I’m so excited to get my top surgery. I am pretty young, only 14 (15 in August!) and I’ve identified as trans since I was 10 or 11. I have two autoimmune diseases, and a long family history of cancer, so I’ve decided that I want to live my life to the fullest while I still have it. This video was extremely inspiring as I haven’t started any type of blocker or hrt, and to see feminine humans with top surgery means a lot to me. Thank you 💜💜

Thank you BOTH for being the representation of top surgery without testosterone that lit the spark in myself realizing that it was something I wanted. I remember being a middle and high schooler and researching to see if surgeons would do breast reductions on chests as small as mine, and then shoving that feeling wayyyy down until my mid/late twenties. I'm now a little over a week post op and I'm dealing with the crappy parts but overall I'm so glad I was able to get this done and SO grateful that you both shared your stories.

SUPER interesting video 😊 About the "zings": After I had major surgery in my left hip/leg area, my doctor and the physiotherapist both told me that it is the nerves reconnecting and making new connections. Kinda cool, if you ask me 😮 Still happens from time to time even after one and a half years post surgery. But not something I worry about at all now. Keep up the videos 👏
